Southbound

First release under a new alias after almost a year. Spent my time getting into Deadmau5, fell in love with his song Strobe. Decided to do an extended rework of the song since there's lots of the same variations out there, but not something different. Parts of the original were used (This is a rework after all) but new parts were also made, including the heartbeat and some of the other things you can hear in the song. Cut up, split, layered and exported in FL Studio. The song sounds best using a stereo headset, 2.1 speaker system, or Dolby surround (What it was mastered in) as DTS' bass drowns out the other parts. Also sounds best in original quality (Available for free download). A tribute to the Halo series' theme song, done by cutting up various parts of the original Halo 1 theme, the Halo 2 theme, the Halo 2 Anniversary Gungnir remix of the theme, and the Halo 2 Anniversary Scorpion remix of the theme. After listening to the original and purchasing the soundtracks for all the games, I decided to go through and get all the versions of the Halo Theme that there are in the games, cut them up, and make them all into a tribute. The result is a 6-minute trip down memory lane, spanning from 2001 all the way until 2014. Halo is something I hold close to my heart, and that is why I did this. A touch of minor editing was done to try and emphasize the Violins and Strings more, but apart from that they're the original versions from the soundtracks! Parts of each track used: Original Halo Theme until 1.59.0 Halo 2 theme from 1.58.5 until 2.49.5 Halo 2A-Gungnir theme from 1.59.0 until 3.12.0 Halo 2A-Scorpion theme from 1.13.0 until 2.03.0 Halo 2 theme from 3.12 until end Note: Apologies for some bad transitions between cuts; the cutting software I was using ran out of memory at some point during the final version's export and as a result, didn't handle transitions properly!
