On top of being a Army Captain, Jason was also a U.S. Border Patrol Agent, an author of two books, the host of The Protector's Podcast, and has a doctorate in strategic security!Our discussion focused on burn pits and their affect on the lives of not only military personnel, but civilians and contractors in the  Iraq and Afghanistan regions. Jason was able to break down the history of burn pits, why they were created, and the medical issues that have plagued those who have been around them! One of the amazing organizations, which Jason is affiliated with through his new podcast, GROUNDTRUTH,  is the HunterSeven  Foundation! For Spear Talk #30, we finally got to speak with our friend, actor, motivator, and martial artist, Chris Casamassa! You will know Chris from his role as one of the most iconic video game characters, "Scorpion", from the Mortal Kombat series, in the movie and television show!Chris is also a 9th degree black belt in Red Dragon Karate, a martial art system his dad created, a motivational speaker, and author of "Bully Proof Fitness", which is an essential read for all children and adults!One of the coolest things we also discovered was that Chris was George Clooney's Batman stunt-double in the Batman & Robin movie! For our latest talk, we were fortunate to welcome our friend, Steve Carlson to the show! You SHOULD recognize Steve as one of the "Hanson Brothers" from the iconic sports film, Slaphot!
