A lover of great music in all it's forms who enjoys the challenge of bringing something new into the musical world and knowing the joy it can bring to all, even through the darkest times.I use a combination of my tried and trusted Fender Squier 50's Vibe Beach Blonde Telecaster guitar, my recent lucky find of a perfectly good Westfield Stratocaster copy, my Tanglewood semi-acoustic guitar, my Ovation Ukulele and a rather cheap and cheerful USB keyboard recorded directly onto GarageBand on my iPad via the iRig and Zoom Multi-stomp Bluetooth pedals. I have now added the brand new Zivix Jamstik+ to my instrument collection which is a great instrument for adding depth, power and orchestration to my new recordings. I have now added my brand new Fender Kingman SCE Acoustic Bass Guitar to the mix.Recently, I have expanded my musical tastes to synth electronica and all its majestic sounds and dynamic power through a multitude of old and new synth plugins. My only rule for making music is tha

Two Lovers at an Impassable Impasse
With this new track, I tried to create an ambient feel by using, for the first time, the Native Instruments Free Glade plugin for those ambient tones, backed up by the DecentSampler Basic Piano, Linn Drums, and the Lewis E. Rock'n'Roll Chromacide
So, I was messing about with Cherry Audio's and Rhodes Chroma along with Native Instruments Session Guitarist Electric Sunburst Deluxe along with a few incidental plugins when I decided to come up with a riff based on some classic Chroma synth sounds combined with a standard rock'n'roll guitar riff. I hope you like the result

Live, Relax, Repeat
New track based on a bass riff I played on a Chroma Synth VST and then added to a bass and smooth fretless bass. The track has a certain B52's vibe about the chorus section. I don't always start with a bass riff so I'm pleased with the result. I hope you are too? :o)

My first attempt at trying to do a rocket ship countdown sequence using various plugins. Once in Garageband I used some additional plugins to enhance the speech. I'm sure with a lot of practice I could have made a much more convincing attempt. Hey Ho! In Space No-one Can Hear Your Mistakes...
