Do you like to dance?
Do you like to dance? How does music make you feel? This episode is dedicated to Olive for her love for music and Nannup Music Festival in Western Australia!Do you like listening to music, singing to music or moving to music?Do you ever feel any emotions when you listen to music? Does it make you feel happy, calm, excited or even help you release emotions like anger or frustration?Do like watching live music? Do you enjoy going to concerts or festivals? I love how music can bring people together, be a way for people to express how they feel, and be a journey to regulate the nervous system however that looks like to you. There's something so inspiring about how free children look when they are singing and dancing. The power of music is amazing, so remember dance and sing like no one is watching. Express how you feel!

Do words have feelings?
Inquiry questions don't have to make sense. Through asking questions we continue to understand and make sense of the world. Everyone will always interpret the world, view things in the word and even see people in the world differently too and that's amazing! That's how we learn off one another and continue to grow our outlook on life!Do you ever feel something when you mention or hear a word?If I hear the word sun, I think of sunflowers, happiness, love, joy, warmth, the ocean and smiles. If I could talk to the word sun or the word happy what would I say? For the word happy I would say, "happy you make be smile, think of the sun, the ocean and calmness in my body and mind."So, are words just words or do they hold something more?Listen to this episode to see what you think!

What are you thinking about?
Did you know, our minds were designed and created to think?!It's amazing how many thoughts enter our mind throughout the day. Do you ever look at them as if they are clouds floating in the sky? I like to think our thoughts can be like clouds.Clouds come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, colours and even images of things, just like our thoughts.Do you think clouds have feelings? Do thoughts you think about change the way you feel? Maybe there's a thought cloud that makes you laugh or feel excited or even surprised.Sometimes, there may be thought clouds that we may not want to see and feel. Maybe we are not feeling ready to feel into them. That is ok because we can use our breath to blow them away.Remember, clouds that make you feel happy and safe you can access, hold onto or see anytime you feel you want and need to.So, what are you thinking about?

What is Yoga to you?
Have you ever thought about what the word yoga means? I have learned it means/represents union. So what does that mean to me? How have I learned to understand what that means to me? I believe it to be the unity or coming together of the mind, body and heart/soul/spirit self as well as the union or connection to others and all living livings. Breathing exercises, stories, sound and body shape movements are tools to help us feel calm, self-regulated, free, loved, happy and connected to self. Yoga and mindfulness can be shared, taught and experienced in many different ways. We can all interrupt it a little bit differently and that is OK, in fact it's wonderful! We all have our own lenses in how we perceive, view and understand the world. That's what makes us all amazingly unique. Maybe next time you learn or try something new, ask yourself, how did this make me feel and what does this knowledge mean to me? So, what does yoga mean to YOU?
