Stature City

Ten years after a devastating asteroid strike the City-State of Stature City is embroiled in a battle for the last former county. Stature City's new Sheriff, Cedrick Parr launches a massive offensive against the mysterious Stature City Shadow and the Crime Syndicate. It’s ten years after what was supposed to be a near-miss by asteroid TV118. Canada took the brunt of it. Upper Michigan and much of lower Michigan were severely affected as well. In what’s called Michigan’s “Thumb Area”, things were bleak. The people who didn’t die from what is being emitted from the strange metal that showered the area, well they turned into something else entirely. Cordoned off by the rest of the state, Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties became a City-State. The U.S. Government declared political darling Preston Allen (aka the Governor) the leader of Stature City and then they washed their hands of it. He has the thankless job of holding back a super-powered crime syndicate that’s hellbent on harnessing the power of the precious metal, escaping Stature City’s barrier, and unleashing chaos on the rest of the world. With over fifty confirmed assassination attempts on his life and a revolving door at sheriff, the Governor has resorted to merging a team of enhanced individuals, with his robotic police force. Days earlier, the vigilante called The Masked Marcus, was brutally murdered. It’s 2042 and the Governor is swearing in Stature City’s twenty-fifth sheriff in ten years.
