In every workplace, there is a need for individuals who are willing to lend an ear and offer their thoughts and insights to their superiors. These individuals, often referred to as sounding boards, serve as a valuable resource for decision-makers, providing them with a different perspective and helping them navigate through complex situations.   It is crucial to recognize when you’re a sounding board for your boss, that thesituation has crossed the line into you being taken advantage of. When yourboss consistently relies on you as their sounding board without acknowledgingyour own needs or aspirations, it can lead to feelings of being undervalued andoverlooked.  As Christians, we often use God as our sounding board when we want things to go our way in our careers. A better job, more money, additional time off. And whenthings don’t seem to be going our way, we get upset with God.   However, have we ever thought about what God wants when we use Him as our sounding board? Are we acting like our boss and not acknowledging God’s needs?  In this webinar, we address three individuals who got what they wanted from Godbecause they framed what they wanted as being something God could use.   It’s a story of trust and obey with a touch of compassion for helping God’schildren.
