I solemnly swear that I am up to no good... In 2008, J.K. Rowling wrote a short story prequel to the Harry Potter series, detailing a singular adventure of Marauder's Map creators: Messrs. Padfoot and Prongs, otherwise known as Sirius Black and James Potter. Manehead Productions is proud to present J.K. Rowling's "Padfoot and Prongs," produced and read for you by Leon Popa. Production Notes: I recorded myself giving the narration and voice performance of the story using a Røde Microphone. In post, I built an ambient soundscape from the ground up using sound effects and foley - these sound effects ‘swaddle’ my vocal track and provide the listener with a sense of presence in the story. I also incorporated motifs of music from the film 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.' All of these elements were mixed with the intention of creating a ‘cinematic’ listening experience which encourages you to see a movie on your 'mental movie screen.'
