Straight to the Deep End
by Anna Standrowicz
San Diego has been my home for eight years now. I am a mother, an adoptee, a veteran, but most importantly; a human just like you. A human that loves to sit down and talk with other humans about their stories. I believe our stories are what connects us to each other more than anything else. The best part about living in San Diego is seeing the relentless drive that people have to follow their dreams and pursue their passions no matter the challenges they've faced. I feel so incredibly inspired by these people, and hope you get inspired by them too. Ready to dive deep with me?

Episode 4 - Alex Marie Alford
I was so stoked to sit down with Alex in her new traveling van she just purchased out by the water in Mission Bay, San Diego and dive deep into her story and background! She is a travel/local photographer here in San Diego but you will come to find out she is so much more then her instagram page @alexmariealford (Highly recommend you follow and support!) She shares her story about growing up in a military family with her dad enlisted in the Marines and how that's shaped her to who she is today, to having her life uprooted many times growing up, to the decision to come out to San Diego on a one way ticket and how she found her place in the world of photography. If you are looking to get inspired by an incredible independent woman who is finding a way to always fight her fears and push past them to live the life she wants, then please join in on listening to her story and what she has to say! (This is a completely unedited Podcast so you will hear a few interruptions since we were sitting in her van outside with the doors open enjoying the cool breeze and letting her dog Jessie roam around. I am all about making the person I am talking to feel comfortable and in their element and things happen but we just roll with it! :)

Episode 3 - Positive Phee
As soon as I knew I was starting this podcast and telling people's stories who've inspired me, I instantly thought of one of my best friends Sophie Hague. She started her own "Swap Shop" business with recycled clothing right before the Pandemic started in March of 2020, and I have seen her journey from the very beginning when it was just an idea she had to now where her business is getting a lot of attention here in San Diego, CA. I wanted to bring her on and have her talk about her unique story and what led her to starting her own business. Thank you for listening and supporting! My whole goal is to really connect people together and hopefully you get inspired by them and their stories as much as I do! Episode 2 - "We are Whoa”
Had the pleasure of meeting up with the founders of We Are Whoa and have a conversation about their brand, and the direction they are going in, as well as the journeys they've been on to get to where they are and how they handled this pandemic. The energy of these guys are amazing, and I know you'll feel inspired by how carefree and confident they are in themselves, and what they have to offer to the world. Tune in for all the good vibes :)

Episode 1 - Go Real Deal, Interview with Co-Founder, Craig
This is my first unedited interview with one of the Co-Founders of Real Deal, which is a brand that sells products to fuel your workouts and your health, such as pre-workout and natural sleep aid, to clothing apparel that represent that brand's logo, Be Real, Be You. The focus of this brand is more of a sense of community that dives deep into caring about the ingredients that go into your products, as well as caring about you as an individual and your growth to be the best version of yourself. I got the pleasure to meet and speak with Craig Levinson, one of the founders, and dive deep with him about his company and the mission behind it. My goal was to also get to know him better as a person and the story of how this all started. I have to say, I wasn't as prepared as I feel like I could've been when it came to questions, and not stuttering at times, but this is my very first episode, and my goal is to be a genuine and real with you guys as possible and share the stories of these incredible people I get to meet. I hope you are able to take something away from this and hope you guys join me in on my next episode coming soon! :)
