Each week, Dobe Newton and Roger Corbett select a song from their huge repertoire and discuss its origin and composition, including stories, historical content, and anecdotes from the band's 50+ year history. The Bushwackers were formed in 1971 and are still going strong, with lively performances all around the country. Having worked with over 100 musicians, released 27 albums of music and 6 books, won 3 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards and been inducted into The Australasian Country Music Roll Of Renown, Dobe and Roger have a lot to unpack.

    'Diggin' For Gold' is the story of The Bushwackers first foray into the Country Music scene and winning their first Gold Guitar in 1981. The Bushwackers have been inducted into the Roll Of Renown since then as well as the Galaxy Of Stars and the Hands Of Fame. And! Noses Of fame!!
