As we move through Labor Day into September, let's reflect on our achievements in August. We enjoyed family days, weekend cookouts with our team, and a drone ERD day. Notably, we went 22 days without a Human Factor train accident, thanks to everyone's effort and follow-up on operational test exceptions and exposed ERDs. Reinforcing desired behaviors and coaching for change were key.However, the last 10 days brought six human factor incidents, reminding us that consistency is crucial.Looking ahead, we face a busy month closing Q3 and entering Q4 with its holidays, weather challenges, and peak UPS season. The reopening of the Blue Ridge Subdivision and Howard Street Tunnel will significantly improve our network's functionality.Post-Labor Day, as vacation entitlement drops and team members return, we have an opportunity to get everyone up to speed with changes like shove rules and transition our people back into a working mindset.
