Bralle is no stranger to the techno scene as his mind bending tracks and sets have seen him release on prestigious labels such as Joton's Newrhythmic among others. More about the artist below! BRÄLLE is a creative project born out of both fear and necessity. Prior to emerging on the techno scene with 2017’s ‘Dream State’, BRÄLLE had already spent nearly a decade composing albums and relentlessly touring globally in the underground Death Metal and Hardcore scenes. After leaving that world, the insatiable urge to create visceral and emotive productions did not fade, and as a result, BRÄLLE was born. This history has given the producer a unique perspective on the current global scene, highly removed from the cliques and trends that dominate the culture. He will also officially be joining the ALT RECORDS family next month with his debut EP. More about the artist below! Tav Shvi is a Techno artist based in Bogota, Colombia. He has crafted his dance floor intended sound since 2016. His style proposes both mind trips and rhythm driven experiences. Under the Tav Shvi alias, his music has been supported by Collective Details (Portugal), and been able to remix italian techno stalwarts such as MTD and Elisa Batti. On stage, he performs a dawless live set where he imprints spontaneously his vision of techno. Thank you to Nick for the mix! More about the artist below. DJ Tonight, AKA Nick Kassebaum, is an American DJ / Producer who got his starts playing house music to dive bars off of cheap controllers. His passion for getting the party going and reading the crowds energy only led him to taking DJing more seriously as the years went on, where he would start his own collective and organize collaborative music releases and event organization throughout the New York City area. Nicks music is energy driven first - whether it be bubbly broken beat with off kilter sub basslines or aggressive synth driven high-bpm techno. His notable performances include playing alongside artists such as Felicie, Umfang, Joton, and many other artists that he has hosted with his label / collective series Regression. This series he created has also hosted parties with hundreds of attendees and gained a following of thousands. His latest venture is in the house music realm with this side project, DJ Tonight, where he is exploring the lighter sounds of deep dreamscape style house and breaks music, trancier uplifting tunes and dubbed out daytime stompers. ALT CAST is back for a very special guest mix from NYC's very own, and EETHR Music Creator: Foon. More about the artist below: Foon is an American Dj/producer based in Brooklyn. Coming from south Florida, he was raised by the local dance music scene. After coming to nyc to perfect his craft, he found his true musical love in the local techno community. With his good friend jahveri, they founded the techno dou cmnd:Z. Making waves locally, they played at legendary venues in Brooklyn, NY and released music on labels such as de-konstrukt. Since covid he’s been focusing on his solo career and recently started the eethr collective. Playing groovy and energetic tracks, Foon is a force to be reckoned with. For this month's ALT CAST, we close out August with Brooklyn's very own Ramsey Neville. For those plugged into the NYC techno scene, you might have seen him open up Avant Gardner for Amelie Lens, and/or rip up various rooms across the city. His move into the more percussive and hypnotic end of the techno-sphere has made him quite sought after. More about the artist below, and thank you again to Ramsey for being our guest this month! Ramsey has been plying his trade out of Brooklyn, New York, where he has established himself as one of the cities’ most notable Techno talents. Over the past few years he has spent countless hours in the studio, honing his own unique sound. His dedication has resulted in releases on imprints including Unity Records, Addeepted, SLC-6, Black Line and more. He recently released a remix for Josh Wink on Ovum Recordings and his highly-anticipated EP on Techno Brooklyn Records, among a slew of releases set for later this year. Recent bookings have seen Ramsey lineup alongside Techno heavyweights including Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Marco Bailey & Farrago at the World-renowned New York venue, Avant Gardner, among a selection of other notable US venues. Most at home in front of a dark dance-floor, Ramsey looks set to continue his international ascent in the Techno scene, bearing the flag for his city with the backing of a favorable local following. This month, we are proud to welcome Brooklyn's very own, and one of the members of the much acclaimed party series Locked Groove: @frdmclub FRDM is a Brooklyn based producer, dj and a member of the ‘Locked Groove’ collective. His sets contain spacey, hypnotic grooves that will prepare you for the mission ahead.

A long time coming, we are proud to present @athousanddetails at the helm of this month's ALT CAST. Gustavo Lima, aka A Thousand Details can be considered possibly as one of the most important rising artist of Portugal ́s techno scene. In the recent years this Porto based producer has established himself at the forefront of Portugal ́s next generation of techno DJs. With releases in different labels, his home is ATD Records, a self-release label with a 100% Made in Portugal concept. Known for fast paced, dark and somewhat distorted rhythms this energetic and charismatic Dj is huge fan of hardware synthesizers, FXs, drum machines, Eurorack and his studio is own sanctuary of creation. Gustavo place emphasis on all crevices of the electronic music spectrum, which is reflected on side projects doing ambient and drone music and the sets he pieces together from his sound collection. A Thousand Details has fast become recognized as a seasoned digger having the opportunity of playing throughout Portugal and at most of the major clubs in Porto such us GARE, Plano B as well as Neopop festival.

Born and bred in the suburbs of Stockholm, @lakej(Filip Ström) comes from a background in visual arts and graphic design. After many years in this field and some life changing experiences, he felt the need to move on to a more abstract medium. Already being fascinated by electronic music and techno in particular, the dive into production and hardware came natural. With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music invites you to be swept away into hypnotic states, both in comfort of your own listening space as well as on the dance floor. After debuting on the scene in 2017 with a full length EP on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report, his output has been steady with tracks for different VA releases and remixes on various labels as well as more recurring releases with 2 full length albums in 2021 on Semantica Records and Edit Select.

This month on ALT CAST, we are very excited to have a one hour exclusive mix from Detroit native and Brooklyn based artist: Arvin T. More about the artist below: Arvin T is a Midwest born, Brooklyn based DJ. Raised in a musical household in the 80's and 90's, his older sisters and parents would play anything from disco, synth wave, industrial, to Persian pop music, and hip hop, the list is endless. His first foray into live music was his freshman year in college, when he and friends would attend pre-parties for Detroit Electronic Music Festival. After some time, he explored the house and techno scenes between Detroit and Chicago. His move after college to Chicago exposed him to an entirely new area of music. Attending many club nights, he learned from Chicago house, to high energy, or even more melodic sounds and trance. He was making playlists and finding new music that he loved, adding to his musical palette. Arvin’s sets can range from nu-italo and EBM, to hard trance and techno. His style started to form as he began to notice that the music he gravitated towards would have a signature '80s sound, but with a future and present twist. Influenced by the fresh sounds coming from Toulouse, Amsterdam, and Berlin, he curates his sets to be driving and relentless, while leading his audience through the entire spectrum of emotions. Arvin T is currently a monthly resident at Hart Bar in Brooklyn, where he hosts his Harekat parties that invite local artists to come display their talent. The parties range from industrial techno and minimal, to house and italo. He has played in the New York City, Chicago, Miami, and Tampa areas. Follow Arvin: @arvin_t

An acclaimed classical musician, Eric's love of repetition and extended forms made his jump to DJing a natural step. Eric has performed as a DJ across the country including at SYITS’s Techno Cabin; Deluxx Fluxx and Paxahau (Detroit); as a SAUCE artist at National Sawdust (NYC); the Crazed Behaviour Podcast (UK); and he presents FACETIME in NYC at H0l0 and at The Parkside Lounge. Eric is co-founder of FACETIME along with Rebecca Goldberg (Detroit Underground). FACETIME has presented techno-focused events in New York and Detroit since early 2019.
