A Conversation with Ndustrial CEO Jason Massey

Industrial emissions are a difficult problem because every facility is unique and profitability is at the front of everyone’s mind from day one. Raleigh-based Ndustrial is aiming to help these industrial facilities ship more products, use less energy, and make more money. All of this with an eye toward reducing the environmental impact on a per unit basis. It’s a challenging problem that goes beyond the software platform they are building. I caught up with the CEO Jason Massey to understand more about how he got into this world and what makes this problem so tricky.Below you will find a lightly edited transcript of the interview for those who prefer to read. If you prefer to listen, this interview is also available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and as an RSS feed. This is a public episode. A conversation with Jared Draper of the Toole Design Group

Building cities that don’t require citizens to own a car to prosper is arguably the greatest climate positive action we could do. The trouble is, there are a ton of complex physical, social, economic, and political systems to navigate to take that action. To take a nibble off of the elephant, I joined a focus group last year in my town of Cary, North Carolina that continues to work on developing a plan for on-street bike infrastructure. Through that group, I met Jared Draper of the Toole Design Group. I caught up with him to chat about how their flavor of consulting works, what impact it is having, and why he got into this gig in the first place. You can find a lightly edited transcript on Substack if you prefer to read:https://sustainableadvantages.substack.com/p/a-conversation-with-jared-draperThis interview is available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and as an RSS feed. A Conversation with Sajith Kumar, CEO of Chargerzilla

In this episode of the Climate Innovators Interview Series, I spoke to Chargerzilla CEO Sajith Kumar. Chargerzilla presents a new business model for EV charging stations in which charger owners, from homeowners to business owners, can make their stations available at specific times of day and set their own pricing. They also incorporate a review-style feedback system. I thought this was a clever and fresh perspective on improving charger reliability and incentivizing the build-out of the charging network. You can find a transcript on the Sustainable Advantages substack: https://sustainableadvantages.substack.com/p/a-conversation-with-sajith-kumar-chargerzilla This is a public episode.
