Daniel finally deals with the truth of what happens after you spend 2-3 days in the blazing sun of Costa Rica while having the complexion of a Marshmallow 

Thalassophobia is described as the fear of large, open bodies of water and specifically the unknown below their feat. Daniel has had this since he almost drowned as a child. As a part of his journey, he decides to challenge his fear of water with a snorkeling expedition off the boast of Tortuga Island

Our plucky storyteller provides a brief recounting of the very first time he went on an ATV ride in the jungle of Jaco with a handsome guide. 

After a bad break up, what does one do? Can't go back home to NYC it would seem to desperate. Can't stay in San Francisco. It's too painful.  So instead,  a one way ticket to Mexico.
