On the evening of February 12, the Careers Service connected 127 UCLstudents from China and Hong Kong with representatives from 6 participatingorganisations recruiting for roles in their home countries or the UK.Target China started with a panel discussion in the Old Refrectory whererepresentatives from IBM and Mayer Brown JSM helped students navigate theirglobal careers. Before and after the panel, all participants were welcomedby the calming sounds of traditional erhu music from UCL's own Nicolas Wang.A special thanks also goes to UCL student Evelyn Yip, who volunteered hertime to assist with marketing before the event and registration on thenight.After the forum, the event then moved to the North Cloisters where studentsmade the most of their networking opportunities with BDO Stoy Hayward,Harvey Best, IBM, Linklaters, Mayer Brown JSM, PriceWaterhouse Coopers.Harby Janagol from Harvey Best said it was the human connection that astudent can make at a networking event
