Tea And Scandal

Years ago, tea was sometimes lovingly called "scandal-water" and friends used to playfully say, "let's meet for tea and scandal..." In my podcast, I have a good catch up with friends and talk about their proudest moments, what inspires them, life lessons, or just stuff I find interesting about them. Grab a cup of tea (or a cocktail, whatever) and join me for some tea and scandal.

    How old are you?

I hate how we talk about age and aging, and I hate how people make themselves feel about it. But it's a light hearted episode.  Head to https://ko-fi.com/cravenwild for store and also contact options.

Interview: Lee Fearnside and the book "Death Never Dies"

We are joined for a special episode this week by artist, educator, curator Lee Fearnside, who joins me to talk about the book Death Never Dies, an anthology that she edited and illustrated. And which I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute a piece to. Since this interview, the book has gone on to garner some awards in the indie publishing field, which is awesome. We chat about the book, board games, art, death and grieving and more in this longer episode. The audio isn't perfect, I'm still learning how to edit and how to podcast in general, but I'm very excited to introduce you to Lee.  https://ko-fi.com/cravenwild for store and contact options.

    On Hope And Jane Goodall.

Opening this new season with some good vibes by talking about hope, what it is and why Jane Goodall has reason to believe in the power of it. Inspired by a recent read of her book The Book Of Hope, which is highly recommended reading. (My copy was sent to me for review on another platform, but I liked it so much I'm sharing it here too. Not sponsored but was a complimentary copy)  https://ko-fi.com/cravenwild for store and contact options.

How To Set Achievable Goals That You'll Actually Enjoy Keeping

I have fun setting goals each year, and this is how I do it and stick to them, year after year. Goal setting doesn't have to be a dry, uncreative experience. It can be really rewarding, even if you're not an organised personality type.

11 Things I Learned About Relationships From My Pet

My cat Grimoire is almost always with me when I record, just quietly listening. Pets are so good for us and to us, but they also have a lot to teach us about relationship skills. These 11 things were inspired by my cat, but you can learn from any kind of pet.

You'll Never Do Everything On Your To Do List.

Have you ever thought that when you die, you won't have read all the books on your TBR stack? That you will actually be partway through your to do list? Don't worry, this isn't a morbid one. It's just about achieving vs being present, amongst other things.

    Decluttering For Minimalists

Decluttering is all the rage and there's a sense that sensible people are minimalists. But can you not have a decluttered, organised life and also be a little maximalist?
