Tell Us Your Story
by Washington Public Library
Everyone has a unique story to tell. We want to make sure those stories are not forgotten but that they are shared with those listening today and for years to come. We are librarians in a small town in southeast Iowa. We have the goal that the stories of the people our area are not lost with change and the passing of time. Our hope is to invite community members to tell us their story so we can create a collection of memories that our community can share."We are all storytellers. We all live in a network of stories. There isn't a stronger connection between people than storytelling."-Jimmy Neil Smith
