The Anchored Identity Podcast
by Breanna Williams
Who you are is based on your beliefs, but where have you anchored your beliefs? Far too often, we anchor them in our parents, spouses, kids, friends, titles, jobs, skills, and even religion. As a result, we might feel misaligned or incomplete. It can be confusing to discern whether our thoughts are truly our own, as they often get drowned out by the noise of external influences. So, who am I? When you anchor your beliefs in God, your mind, body, and soul become aligned, and you realize that you are a child of the King!

Saved But Still Stuck
You did the work. You said the prayer. You know who God is — and yet somehow, you still feel trapped. Stagnant. Like everyone else is moving and you're standing still in the same wilderness you've been in for years. Sound familiar? You're not alone — and you're not broken. In this episode of The Breanna Williams Podcast, Breanna digs into one of the most relatable tensions in the faith journey: being saved, but still stuck. Drawing from the book of Exodus, she unpacks why the Israelites — even after being miraculously freed from 400 years of bondage — struggled to walk in the freedom God had already given them. And why so many of us are doing the exact same thing today. Because sometimes the chains aren't on the outside anymore. They're in your mind. In your identity. In the story you keep telling yourself about who you are and what you deserve. This episode will challenge you, comfort you, and remind you that the wilderness isn't the end of your story — it's part of the journey to your promised land. Hit subscribe so you never miss an episode, and share this with someone who needs to hear it today.

Exodus Live
What if the reason you’re still asking “Who am I?” is because you’ve been looking for the answer everywhere—except God? In this episode of The Breanna Williams Podcast, Breanna invites you into a raw and reflective conversation about identity, lies we’ve unknowingly accepted, and why knowing who you are changes everything about how you live, love, and move forward. Through personal stories, Scripture, and the powerful narrative of Exodus, we explore how identity is formed, how it gets distorted, and how God gently calls us to confront the lies we’ve been carrying for years. You’ll be guided through practical steps to find the lie, grieve it, and replace it with truth, while discovering who God says you are. This episode is especially for anyone who feels stuck—praying, waiting, and doubting—when God has already spoken and said, “Move forward.” If you’ve ever felt unprepared, unsure, or like you’re running in circles, this conversation will remind you that God has already equipped you with what you need. Now, it’s time to run.

My Journey of Identity Is Far From Over
This time, I find myself in the role of the interviewee, opening up about my journey of discovering who I truly am. I make mistakes. Sometimes, I am filled with doubt and fear the unknown. In quiet moments, I wonder if I am truly worthy of the love and grace God promises me. Yet, I am learning to embrace the truth that life is a marathon, not a sprint, and that every step—no matter how small—matters. As I continue to grow, I know I will encounter new challenges, and old struggles will sometimes resurface to remind me of my past. Without God, I would be lost in a whirlwind of emotions and confusion. But this time, I feel grounded, with the Holy Spirit gently and lovingly reminding me that I am a cherished daughter of the Most High God.

I Am The Woman At the Well
We are stepping into the shoes of "The Woman at the Well." As you study her story with us, you will see yourself as her. Who was she? Does she deserve the labels of harlot, sinful, and adulterer? Why was she isolated? Was she a victim? Did she have the right to make decisions for herself? What was missing in her life that Jesus provided? You will also see how Jesus perceived her. Like Hagar in Genesis 16:13, the Woman at the Well experienced El Roi, "the God who sees me."

Vulnerability- Jeff Raya’s Story
Today, we have Jeff Raya in the building—and his story isn’t a polished testimony, it’s a real one. After experiencing spiritual abuse, Jeff ran—not from God, but from the pain. What followed was a search for belonging that led him into gangs, destructive choices, and ultimately prison. What he didn’t know then was that God would meet him in the very places he thought disqualified him. In this episode, Jeff opens up about something that once felt foreign and even unsafe: vulnerability. Learning to sit with it, trust it, and live it became the doorway to healing, love, acceptance, and a restored relationship with God. This conversation is honest, raw, and deeply human. If you’ve ever wrestled with church hurt, identity, shame, or the fear of being fully seen—this episode will resonate. Do you see yourself in Jeff’s story? If something in this episode speaks to you, like, comment, and share it with someone you love. That’s how we spread the Good News—one story at a time.

Identity Crisis: Bathsheba
What if Bathsheba’s story is more complex than we’ve been told? Step into her shoes. What did she see from that rooftop? What did she hear when the king sent for her? What did she understand—and what power did she truly have? Was Bathsheba a willing participant… or a woman caught in a story shaped by authority, silence, and survival? And if we’ve misunderstood her, what else have we misunderstood about women, guilt, and identity in Scripture? In this episode, we lean in with curiosity—not judgment—to uncover unseen truths, cultural context, and overlooked perspectives that challenge the labels of adulteress and harlot. This Bible study invites you to reconsider Bathsheba’s identity—and maybe your own.

Identity: Parent Leadership
Today, we’re thrilled to have an exceptional guest, Coach K! She opens up about her journey as a mentor, sharing the highs and lows she encounters along the way. Coach K emphasizes the importance of keeping our humanity intact for those genuine connections and reflects on how she remains mindful of the loving patience God extends to her. Her wisdom encourages us to stay true to ourselves, set healthy boundaries, and recognize that we’re not here to "fix people." Let’s take a moment to appreciate the invaluable leadership and mentorship that begins at home. Coach K reminds us that family ministry should always come first. Often, we see leaders caring deeply for their employees, students, and church groups, while their own families may be struggling. Remember, it’s hard to be a fantastic business owner and neglectful in your role as a partner or to be an exceptional nurse yet distant from your loved ones. Embrace your identity in God, cherish it, and invite Him to work through you and your family!
