    Japan's Vending Machine Killer

    In 1985, Japan was rocked by a series of horrific murders involving the deadly herbicide paraquat. The victims were mostly middle aged men who unsuspecting consumed the herbicide from drinks obtained at local vending machines, the true identity of the killer (referred to as Paraquat Murderer or The Vending Machine Killer) is still unknown and the case remains open to this day. On this episode Sam and Scott dig into the cultural issues in Japan at the time, the crimes themselves and even offer theories on who the killer could have been.
