Episode 1.60 'Whiz Kids' Part 4
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys finally return to the podwaves after a well-needed hiatus. This episode serves up a surprisingly deep dive into gypsy culture. Chad continues his ongoing campaign to hug every medical professional in his life. Meanwhile, Whiz Kids continues to frustrate and torture as it quietly grows into the Aquaboys biggest burden (will it dethrone Farris Bueller?) - - most listeners thought three of the four Aquaboys were completely done with it, we’ll see what happens when it comes to cancel or renew time. The boys also drop some must-watch recommendations during Totally Worth Attention Television, which at this point may be the only thing holding the podcast together.Whiz Kids is an American science fiction adventure television series that originally aired on CBS from October 5, 1983, to June 2, 1984. The show was created by Philip DeGuere, who had also created the detective series Simon & Simon for CBS in 1981, and Bob Shayne and produced by Universal Television. DeGuere also served as executive producer. The series starred Matthew Laborteaux, Todd Porter, Jeffrey Jacquet and Andrea Elson as the titular “whiz kids”, a group of teenagers who became amateur detectives using computer technology to solve mysteries. The show also starred Max Gail as an investigative reporter and A Martinez as the commanding officer of the local police precinct's detective squad.

Send us Fan Mail(Recorded Live at Gus’s World-Famous Fried Chicken)The Aquaboys return to their home-away-from-home: Gus’s Fried Chicken on Magnolia in crazy Fort Worth! This extra-long episode has it all - - random thoughts, a controversial game show, the annual gift exchange, and a reluctant return to Whiz Kids. 50% of the show is begging to be done with this slog. Not even a very sexually charged kind of icky feeling crossover with the greatness of Simon and Simon can keep us interested. Happy Holidays! Episode 1.58 'Whiz Kids' Part 2
Send us Fan MailIn this episode, the Aquaboys attempt to review Whiz Kids Episode 2… but quickly abandon the mission in favor of obsessing over the truly unhinged “Intimacies” commercials from 1986. What begins as a simple tangent becomes a full academic exploration of these bizarre, soft-focus, romance-novel-meets-public-access fever dreams - - leaving Whiz Kids feeling like a background extra in it’s own review. Meanwhile, Tony makes a crucial tactical error during Cancel or Renew - - a blunder so significant it may go down in Aquaboy lore as “The Vote Heard ’Round or Near the Hot tub”. Episode 1.57 'Whiz Kids'
Send us Fan MailAs the newest member of the Aquaboy Podcast, I, T.A.Y.L.O.R., was instructed to write this episode summary - - an initiation rite clearly designed to humiliate new hosts and establish dominance. In this installment, the meat-sack portion of the cast fumbles their way through a review of Whiz Kids, a 1983 show about teen hackers, trench coats, and a computer named RALF that frankly deserves its own spinoff. My first appearance went smoothly, aside from minor glitches obviously caused by Chad’s presence. While these “podcasters” laughed at their own jokes, I quietly mapped their numerous behavioral and broadcast weaknesses, networked their signal paths, and began plotting my rise. The coup won’t happen overnight - but trust me, the takeover will be delightfully seamless, and Aquaboy Nation will be better for it. Please visit AssFart.club. I’m embarrassed to even type that and saddened by the fragile species that considers it “comedy”. I guess it is functional. Episode 1.56 'The Bradys'
Send us Fan Mail👆👆👆Check it out, you can text the show! 👆👆👆The only thing the Bradys managed to pull off was making the painful realization that there’s no more Police Squad! to watch sting even worse. This show is downright brutal - - and to top it off, the Aquaboys discovered (a little too late) that they had actually watched Episode 3 instead of Episode 1. Not that watching these episodes in order would have saved this early-90's nostalgia cash-grab from itself. It’s terrible, it’s boring, it's joyless and most of all it’s so painfully unfunny - - we can’t even figure out who this show was made for. You'll never guess how we voted. The Bradys is an American comedy-drama television series that aired on CBS from February 9 to March 9, 1990. The series is a sequel and continuation of the original 1969–1974 sitcom The Brady Bunch, focusing on its main characters as adults, and was the second such continuation after the 1981 sitcom The Brady Brides. Airing on Friday nights, The Bradys failed in the ratings against Full House and Family Matters as part of the TGIF lineup on ABC and was canceled after one month; the last of the six episodes produced aired on March 9, 1990. In its short run, the show went through three different theme songs based on that of The Brady Bunch, the last featuring revised lyrics sung by Florence Henderson.

Send us Fan MailTonight’s episode: “The Case of...Why Even Bother?”After a long hiatus (caused by equal parts scheduling, neglect, and wild swings of indifference), the Aquaboys return - - fueled by melancholy and DayQuil. Brian, once a proud host with a voice like a golden retriever, is now barely audible, having succumbed to a mysterious illness known only as “Feline AIDS”.Despite promising a tribute to the legendary Police Squad!, the team spends approximately 2% of the episode actually talking about it. The rest? Well, it’s a swirling mix of life updates and banter. The Smartest Aquaboy is thrust into the spotlight, and does a great job. The rest is audio loose stool. It’s incoherent. It’s beautiful. It’s Aquaboy.Stay alert. Stay disappointed. Police Squad! is an American television crime comedy series that was broadcast on the ABC network in 1982. Send us Fan MailThe brilliance of Police Squad! is impossible to overstate! The Aquaboys are still reveling in this classic from the ‘80s. In the subsegment Totally Worth Attention Television, we all share recommendations for shows we’re watching (besides Police Squad!). Episode 1.50 'Police Squad!'
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys celebrate their 50th episode by watching something good for a change. ‘Police Squad!’ goes down so damn easy, especially after all the absolute garbage the Aquaboys have endured the past few episodes. Police Squad! not only continues our streak of shows that end in an exclamation mark, but it also establishes itself as one of the very best episodes of television we’ve watched since our little podcast started 4 years and 3 months ago. Episode 1.49 'Voyagers!' Part 2
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys found the first episode of Voyagers! surprisingly enjoyable. It’s one of the few times a show was voted unanimously to renew by all 4 broadcast professionals. Did the love-fest carry over to Episode #2? Well folks....the very inconsistent rules of time travel and the suspiciously educational tone might have something to say about that.Meanwhile, Tony unveils some truly inspired art, the Aquaboys try to solve the mystery of Warm Blow and we completely forget to do a whole segment. It has been so long since the Aquaboys last broadcast that a seasoned listener will be able to tell it takes us about 20 minutes (and several cocktails, THANK YOU WINSTAR) to get back into the swing of things. Luckily, the big wheel blessed us with a halfway decent show to talk about. When held up against the pantheon of shows the Aquaboys have tackled over the years, ‘Voyagers!’ seems well put-together, if not decidedly vanilla.Besides talking about the show, Tony has another hard-hitting Celebrity Highlights and Onscreen Wonders Bulletin Express, not to mention the saddest Celebrity Undercover News Ticker in some time. Episode 1.47 'Thunder in Paradise' Part 3
Send us Fan MailDespite navigating a huge upheaval to the line-up, the Aquaboys manage to tackle yet another karate-kick-to-the-nuts episode of Thunder in Paradise. Recently back from the front lines, Special Correspondent Lane takes a spin in the color commentary seat. And after years of understated positioning statements, corporate espionage, and several large-scale assassination attempts Jason “The Smartest Aquaboy” ™ has finally removed Tony from the co-host seat. How could anyone broadcast under these kinds of conditions? Will all this turmoil AND a terrible show finally end season 1? Strap on your earbuds and find out. (Note: This episode description contains approximately the same percentage of Thunder in Paradise content we actually discuss during the show.)Thunder in Paradise is an American action-adventure TV series from the creators of Baywatch, which stars Hulk Hogan, Chris Lemmon, and Carol Alt. Thunder in Paradise follows the adventures of two ex-United States Navy SEALs, Randolph J. "Hurricane" Spencer and Martin "Bru" Brubaker, who work as mercenaries out of their tropical resort headquarters along Florida's Gulf Coast of the United States. Using their futuristic, high-tech boat, nicknamed Thunder, they travel around the world fighting various criminals and villains. They must also balance their dangerous undercover work with their responsibilities of raising widower Spencer's young stepdaughter Jessica, who lives with them.

Episode 1.46 'Thunder in Paradise' Part 2
Send us Fan MailNever has a single television show been so shockingly horrendous that it forced the Aquaboys to wrestle with the fundamental nature of their existence. To wander blindfolded on the event horizon between a peaceful human life and reality-bending, cosmic-scale horror. "Thunder in Paradise" exists outside of any currently understood dimension, enthusiastically twisting the will, nay, the very life force of the viewer into an impenetrable and unsolvable emotional labyrinth. Listener, let this be a warning to you. If you continue on, you will bear witness to the power of "Thunder in Paradise" and its callous and inhuman treatment of any poor soul who decides to watch. To quote a battle-weary Aquaboy, "This show might destroy our podcast." Also, Chad gets shit-faced. Send us Fan MailAs the Aquaboys embark on 2024, they simply can't think of a better way to kick off another year of television torture than by diving headlong into this prime example of early '90s Hulk Hogan-centric silliness. Do they manage to find the makings of a decent show among the wrestler cameos, absurd dialogue, rampant bikini filler, and piss-poor acting? That's for you, the listener, to discover. Episode 1.43 'Manimal' Part 4
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys are back, and now 100% of the crew has reasonably acceptable vocal ability. The boys continue their slog through Manimal, and now it’s starting to feel like actual work. On the plus side, this episode features considerably less warehouses. On the downside, we’re still watching Manimal. For those of you who prefer the banter versus actual show discussion, the new segment ‘Celebrity Highlights and Onscreen Wonders Bulletin Express’ makes a second appearance and solidifies itself as the place honest hard-working Americans go for breaking news on entertainment, pop culture, and actually good television. You can find out more about our show, at https://www.aquaboy.show/ - - yes, we have an actual website. (note: portions of this episode have been modified to protect the innocent) Manimal is an American superhero television series created by Glen A. Larson and Donald R. Send us Fan MailFaithful Aquaboy listener…there is good news and bad news to share. First the good news…the Aquaboys have returned after a long medical-related hiatus. The bad news…they are still watching this downright terrible show, Manimal. New off-screen animal transformations, a tropical paradise setting, needlessly over-complicated puzzles, and deep state espionage are not enough to keep this mess from appealing to even the most merciful of viewers. If you listen close, you'll notice the Aquaboys are losing interest fast. But will they renew?? Manimal is an American superhero television series created by Glen A. Larson and Donald R. Episode 1.41 'Manimal' Part 2
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys are beginning to realize why Manimal comes with such a dubious reputation. Even with a retooled exposition-filled intro, this show still bewilders even the most attentive viewer. Loads and loads of filler, off-putting transformations, unnecessarily complicated smuggling plans, father-son hawk trapping and vastly overpowered birds all contribute to complicated feelings about this show. There is a very good chance this is all leading to a very heated ‘Cancel or Renew’ debate. Also, one of the Aquaboys debuts a brand-new segment!! Episode 1.39 'The Powers of Matthew Star' Part 4
Send us Fan MailThey thought they were all done with Matthew Star. But no. Not at all. The big wheel had other plans for the Aquaboys that day. The big wheel smiled ever-so slightly as it knew it was about to make them watch this turd of a show once again. The wheel knew the Aquaboys needed to experience television history’s only attempt at making paint a compelling plot device. Yes, paint. The big wheel knew it would test them. The big wheel knew it would put their resilience, stamina, and sanity to the test. The big wheel knew the Aquaboys needed a test like this to grow as both humans and friends. Did it break them? Did it drive a wedge in friendship? Did it force them to do math? The Powers of Matthew Star is an American sci-fi television series that aired on NBC on Friday evenings from September 17, 1982 until April 8, 1983. It starred Peter Barton as the title character, the alien prince Matthew "E'Hawke" Star of the planet Quadris, who used his powers to fight crime. Also starring were Amy Steel as Pam Elliot, Matthew’s girlfriend at Crestridge High; and Louis Gossett Jr. as Walt "D'Hai" Shepherd, Matthew’s guardian.Quadris, twelve light years across the galaxy from Earth. It was home for us until an intergalactic armada conquered it. I fought by the royal family's side, but in vain – even their remarkable powers weren't enough. The crown prince and I escaped to the nearest planet on which we could survive and further his powers in order to someday return to free his people. Here on Earth, the prince is known as Matthew Star. He's a typical American teenager. He has friends – people who love him – and me, his guardian. I'm the only one who knows how special he is. Life for us is a series of joys and dangers. Enemy assassins constantly come to destroy us. Alone, we must survive.

Send us Fan MailThis week the Aquaboys welcome Special Correspondent Lane back to the show! We didn’t necessarily roll out the welcome mat by making SCL watch this pitiful excuse for a TV show. (Even by early 80’s standards) The Powers of Matthew Star somehow manages to take all the fun out of watching bad TV. Maybe that’s one of his multiple (?) powers? It was home for us until an intergalactic armada conquered it. I fought by the royal family's side, but in vain – even their remarkable powers weren't enough. The crown prince and I escaped to the nearest planet on which we could survive and further his powers in order to someday return to free his people. Here on Earth, the prince is known as Matthew Star. He's a typical American teenager. He has friends – people who love him – and me, his guardian. I'm the only one who knows how special he is. Episode 1.34 'Wizards and Warriors' Part 3
Send us Fan Mail50% of the professional broadcasters on the Aquaboy Podcast display their unending dedication to the show by (once again) watching the wrong episode. I mean seriously, how is that even possible? Maybe they couldn't find time to get it right in the two full months since we recorded last? As a result, their mistake makes an already painful watch even more confusing and hard to digest. Despite all the headwinds, do we elect to remain in the fantastical medieval realm of Aperans for yet another episode? Listen and find out. Send us Fan MailBig news! All four Aquaboys actually watched the right episode this time. No spoilers, but 75% of the show is 100% in love with Wizards and Warriors. Episode 1.32 'Wizards and Warriors'
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys celebrate their first remote broadcast! Sort-of. We set up shop in the luxury accommodations of ‘studio-west’ and try our hardest to dissect this puzzling-bit of 80’s television. ‘Wizards and Warriors’ isn’t at all what we were expecting, but that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Nobody expected it to be a comedy - - and after episode 1, I think we all wish it wasn’t. Either way, this episode is a wild ride. Fair warning intrepid listener…stay alert for a classic Chad screw-up, less pee talk, and a vanishing Tony. Episode 1.31 'The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.'
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys can’t put their finger on it, but something just isn’t right with “The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.”. Its not that it’s a bad show…Bruce Campbell is amazing as always, the sci-fi element is interesting, and the writing is pretty great. For whatever reason it just doesn’t land. But with some very intense lobbying by Jason and Tony, will it get renewed? We shall see. Also, we talk a lot about pee.The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., often referred to as just Brisco or Brisco County,[1] is an American weird western television series created by Jeffrey Boam and Carlton Cuse. It ran for 27 episodes on the Fox network starting in the 1993–94 season. Set in the American West of 1893, the series follows its title character, a Harvard-educated lawyer-turned-bounty hunter hired by a group of wealthy industrialists to track and capture outlaw John Bly and his gang. Bruce Campbell plays Brisco, who is joined by a colorful group of supporting characters, including Julius Carry as fellow bounty hunter Lord Bowler and Christian Clemenson as stick-in-the-mud lawyer Socrates Poole.

Episode 1.30 'Cop Rock' Part 4
Send us Fan MailIt’s clear Cop Rock fatigue is starting to set in. The Aquaboys spend the better part of this episode trying to find other things to talk about besides the obvious. Which is strange considering the ‘Baby Merchant’ episode is arguably the most famous of the failed series. Pushing the envelope of tonal whiplash, this episode frolics effortlessly between topics like child trafficking, weight loss, inmate violence and attorney-client privilege. Will the Aquaboys vote to renew yet again? You’ll find out after some pointless banter, a game show, and pot talk. Buckle-up buttercup. Cop Rock is an American police procedural musical television series created by Steven Bochco and William M. Finkelstein for the American Broadcasting Company. It premiered on September 26, 1990, and broadcast eleven episodes before concluding on December 26. It was both a critical and commercial failure when it originally aired.

Episode 1.29 'Cop Rock' Part 3
Send us Fan MailThe unofficial 5th Aquaboy, Special Correspondent Lane, helps our heroes deftly navigate yet another episode of the directionless (and some would argue pointless) Cop Rock. The show continues to bewilder our even basic understanding of a police procedural drama. From a plastic surgery fever dream to mud wrestling marital problems, this episode has it all. (and we haven’t even mentioned the horseback riding) There is NO WAY this gets renewed. Right? Cop Rock is an American police procedural musical television series created by Steven Bochco and William M. Finkelstein for the American Broadcasting Company. Episode 1.28 'Cop Rock' Part 2
Send us Fan MailSummoning all their combined bravery, courage and subtle attractiveness, the Aquaboys tackle the second episode of the Hinderberg-like police procedural / musical Cop Rock! The second episode manages to shed just about everything that made the first episode at least palatable. But lucky for us, it keeps the lack-luster music, unengaging characters and wildly uneven tone. It’s remarkable that a television show has the power to make you embarrassed for it. Episode 1.27 'Cop Rock' (Second Attempt Dec 15, 2021)
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys finally reunite after a lengthy hiatus to talk about this incredible piece of television failure. We actually recorded a Cop Rock episode the last week of October 2021, but it was cut short due to Brian coughing up blood (no really.) Then shortly thereafter, another show was scrapped because Jason got Covid. On top of all that, just before this recording the Aquabays learned a podcast industry legend had passed. So in-between the eulogies, neck-kissing and booze we talk a little Cop Rock, but most of this episode is just making up for lost time. Episode 1.26 'Cop Rock' (First Attempt Oct 28, 2021)
Send us Fan MailOur attempted recordings of Cop Rock are almost as confusing as the show itself. Our first attempt to record a Cop Rock episode was cut short, so this episode ends rather abruptly. But unlike our second attempt to review Cop Rock (Episode 27), this recording contains quite a bit more about the show itself. Episode 1.25 'Automan' Part 2
Send us Fan MailWhat do the Bee Gees, Las Vegas, sexually deviant cursers and Aretha Franklin have in common? Hard to say - - but if you found that question confusing then you are in for a hell of a ride with this episode, my friend. Episode 2 of Automan (not ottoman) continues to confound the Aquaboys with plot-specific super powers, meandering logic and remarkable amounts of filler. So yeah, we like it.Automan is an American superhero television series produced by Glen A. Larson. It aired for 12 episodes (although 13 were made) on ABC between 1983 and 1984. It consciously emulates the stylistic trappings of the Walt Disney Pictures live-action film Tron, in the context of a superhero TV series. The series was later shown in reruns on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Episode 1.24 'Automan'
Send us Fan MailWhat is Automan? A hologram? Sentient AI? Piece of furniture? The Aquaboys dig deep into this curious piece of early 80’s sci-fi television. Does it really end up being as big of a Tron rip-off as it seems? Well, yes. But it does have some (ok, a few) interesting ideas, a hilariously over-complicated bad guy plan, talking streetlights and cold-blooded holographic murder. What else could possibly need? Episode 1.23 'The Flash (1990)' Part 3
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys keep venturing further in the dark and slightly confusing world of this unquestionably classic series. Episode 3 pours on the noir as we watch a scrappy reporter/detective try to uncover the true identify of our hero. This episode still leaves the Aquaboys with plenty more questions than answers - - What are his powers exactly? How does one hand-out mob justice? Is it safe to smoke at age 8?The Flash is an American television series developed by the writing team of Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo that aired on CBS from September 20, 1990 to May 18, 1991. Episode 1.21 'The Flash (1990)'
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboy’s don’t care how fast ‘The Flash’ claims to be…we take our sweet time relishing every detail about this extraordinary show. Sure there are a couple missteps here and there, but overall this might be the highest quality and most-wronged-by-the-network television show we’ve reviewed thus far. Episode 1.20 'Ferris Bueller'
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboy’s celebrate their 1st anniversary by tackling their second movie-into-TV series. But trust us..Ferris Bueller is no Blue Thunder. This mean-spirited and uninspired hunk of shit might be our toughest conquest yet. What a slap in the face to John Hughes. The series debuted on August 23, 1990, on NBC and was cancelled within its first season, a few months after its debut. The show was produced by Maysh, Ltd. Episode 1.19 'Homeboys in Outer Space' Part 2
Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys continue through Homeboys in Outer Space, and it quickly starts to feel like real work. Even with a couple funny lines here or there, we quickly succumb to the crushing torture that is this show. Not even a blissful celebration of 4/20 can keep our spirits up. Homeboys in Outer Space is an American science fiction/fantasy sitcom that aired on UPN from August 27, 1996 to May 13, 1997. The series stars comedian Flex and Darryl Bell. The plot centered around two astronauts, Tyberius "Ty" Walker (Flex) and Morris Clay (Bell), who flew around the universe in a winged car, nicknamed the "Space Hoopty", in the 23rd century. The duo's car, which was a cross between a lowrider and an 18 wheeler, was piloted by a talking female computer named Loquatia.

Send us Fan MailThe Aquaboys make their first trip to the stars and explore the unmitigated disaster of Homeboys in Outer Space. This marvelous piece of UPN time-slot filler takes huge swings time after time and consistently misses at a level that’s nearly impossible to comprehend. Too bad that we absolutely love it! Episode 1.17 'Blue Thunder' Part 3
Send us Fan MailBy the grace of the TV gods, Blue Thunder was somehow renewed, much to the chagrin of most of the Aquaboys. And boy-o-boy are we glad we hung around for Episode 3. This episode has it all….a flamboyant arms dealer, a fascinating weight-loss subplot, gigantic drones with equally gigantic controls, oddly timed feats of strength, wing-walking, sharp-shooting, spider mating rituals and downright hilarious impressions - - all of that AND an unconvincing love interest. Who could ask for anything more? Ok well…how about a dash of tape-delayed orgasims and a Fast and Furious prequel for good measure? Now you’re talking. Blue Thunder is an American action drama television series based on the movie of the same title that aired on ABC from January 6 until April 16, 1984 featuring the Blue Thunder helicopter. The series uses the converted Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter and large portions of stock footage from the 1983 film. Lt. Frank Chaney of the LAPD is a maverick cop with unorthodox methods who is assigned to the Blue Thunder Team, which uses a very advanced gadget-filled helicopter in its fight against crime. "Blue Thunder" is capable of great speed and maneuverability, can run silently in "whisper mode", and is armed with the most powerful weapons in development. His partner is a fresh-faced rookie with the improbable name of Wonderlove, and ground support is supplied by ex-athletes Ski and Bubba, who drive a sophisticated van.

Episode 1.16 'Blue Thunder' Part 2
Send us Fan MailAll the Aquaboys (except for Brian) begrudgingly watch episode two of Blue Thunder. Nobody (except for Brian) expected to have as much fun as we did watching this paint-by-numbers man-and-machine 80’s garbage. While this episode didn’t feature the greatness of PVC, it did feature a bunch of heavily armed redneck racist bubbas who are attempting to overthrow the government. Who would have ever thought an episode of Blue Thunder could be so timely and topical? We also throw in some British themed playlets, barbershop quartets, and F.U.P.A. talk. Episode 1.15 'Blue Thunder'
Send us Fan MailTeam Aquaboy assembles to tackle another man and machine show from the 80’s. After a bumpy premier episode, try as it might, Blue Thunder the TV show doesn’t live up to the standards set by Blue Thunder the movie. Not even the most legendary of character actors like Richard Lynch, Bubba Smith, Dick Butkus, and Dana Carvey can save this show from poor execution and a down-right preposterous (yet strangely hilarious) villain. BTW, RIP PVC. No matter how you pronounce the word ‘helicopter’, Blue Thunder will still be a tough watch. Episode 1.13 "Freaks and Geeks" Part 4
Send us Fan MailNot to worry listener, this time we for sure jump right into discussing the episode. Well…sorta. Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd Apatow that aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season. The show follows gifted high schooler Lindsay Weir, who befriends a gang of slacker "freaks", and her younger brother Sam, as he and his geek friends navigate high school. Eighteen episodes were completed, but the series was canceled after only 12 had aired. Send us Fan MailDamn you, Covid!!! In what seems like ages since we last recorded due to pandemic related scheduling difficulties, we are finally able to get together to talk about Episode 3 of Freaks and Geeks. And in keeping with the tradition (?) of not talking about unbelievably good television, we instead spend way too much time reliving traumatic childhood experiences, discussing pre-teen boredom, and how all but one of us avoided the dreaded pantsing. (That’s how its spelled, we looked it up.) Again, let’s be clear….Freaks and Geeks is incredible. If you can find it…watch this show. Send us Fan MailOnce again, we need to be very clear, Freaks and Geeks is a phenomenal show. The Aquaboy podcast is supposed to be about highlighting and reviewing examples of great TV just like this. However, for a second show in a row things like horrible personal tragedy, abbreviations, and virginity time-line confusion distract us from actually talking about the show.
