This narrative follows River, a student who has lost her former ability to traverse timelines and enter others' minds, causing her significant internal distress. While balancing the pressures of a biology exam, she experiences a breakthrough by mentally entering her friend Max’s consciousness to assist him with a poetic essay. Her journey is guided by a mysterious book and a visit to the Midnight Café, where she encounters a poet named Elias. Elias explains that time is not a rigid measurement but a malleable force shaped by human emotion and perception. By learning to follow golden threads within her dreams and letting go of her fears, River begins to reclaim her supernatural gifts and understand her place within the fabric of time.

This episode explores a surreal, philosophical journey through time and consciousness involving characters  River, Bell, and Max. Through a series of vivid, dreamlike sequences, the narrative examines the metaphysical origins of Bell, who appears to be a sentient manifestation of Max’s subconscious thoughts fueled by dark matter.
