Event Description: Keynote Presenter: John Delaney John Delaney will address regional economic development initiatives and the importance of workforce development in the continued economic growth of St. Johns County and the First Coast. John Delaney has particular expertise in the areas of education, the environment, business relocation and economic development. He brings decades of experience working on some of Northeast Florida’s most successful policy initiatives, as well as close contacts and relationships with officials in the First Coast, across the state of Florida, and throughout the nation.

In today’s episode of “The Business Lens” podcast, Chamber VP of Public Policy Bob Porter and Chamber VP of Operations Greg Voss give a first look at the soon to pass $2 Trillion federal COVID-19 economic recovery legislation and what it means for employers, employees and the economy. Greg and Bob discuss the various SBA “forgivable loan” programs; the Paycheck Protection features and enhanced and extended unemployment benefits which will soon become available.
