Long before smart speakers lived in our homes, Talking Toys were the closest thing we had to Artificial Intelligence. This episode explores some of the chatty playthings we loved from the ’80s, ’90s, & early 2000s—from Reading Geese and Talkboy, to Buzz Lightyear and beyond. Some were amazing, some were annoying, All had the potential to be creepy after dark!

This week on The Busy Signal, we revisit the Game Boy and Game Boy Color era.
