To transplants like the Kentuckian detective Brik Breaker, or Illinoisan librarian Rowan Bailey, the strange goings-on in town are given more heed; in Brik’s case, rapt interest, and in Rowan’s, exerted disregard. For career “psychic” Cain, who has only been living in town a few months, he can always explain away the unnatural knocks and whispers emanating from the fog. And for Anya Supernova, who has just rolled into town, these curious aberrations are exactly what she’s been looking for. Arc 3- Welcome to Norville, Session 6
Armed with berries, foxglove, small mirrors, a troll cross, inside-out clothes, their newly-recalled memories of neighbors and shops in Cloudcatch, and the name of their foe: the Alp-luachra, or the Joint-Eater, the gang know they need to save Brik, but they learn that Emily, and maybe the other residents too, are also in need of saving from the Joint-Eater.

The team go on a fact-finding mission to search for the name and protection against whatever strange power is trapping those in the Gardener's Circle. Brik is still missing and in need of saving too. But little can be done in Norville so the sleuths head to the library to get answers.

The sleuths are one step closer to Brik, but it seems that they keep taking two steps back. It’s time to kit up and go on the offensive. But, who are they going to fight? The people in town seem innocent enough. Will they be able to save not just Brik, but the rest of the town if they’re in danger to?

The library proves a wealth of knowledge for the gang as they continue their pursuit to find Brik. Rowan surprises himself by learning the source of the unknown forces they’ve been struggling against which bring them more questions than they started with. Especially when the clocks just don’t seem to be acting right for everybody in the group.

Norville might seem cheery and perfect, but the gang get an eerie feeling that there’s much more to the 1950s suburban dream town then the “locals” are letting on. Brik is still missing and unknown forces in Norville and the surrounding forest are starting to take their tolls on the group.

In this finale episode of ARC 2, though Sumaya has been found relatively safe and sound, there are countless questions still left unanswered that Zachariah Knox is the perfect person to ask for. Now, all that’s left is to find out who could have left Bearing Tree Manor with all those bodies in it, and why they did.

The gang utilize the strange pulling feeling in their guts, the compass that Cain found in the attic, and the inconsistencies Rowan found in the blueprints to find the secret vault and conference room in the heart of the manor where rows of victims claimed by the house’s power rest. What secrets will they uncover here? And will they be able to escape intact, or will they succumb to those same powers as well?

Sumaya Steele, the missing teen, has been found wounded but alive. The team needs to get her out of the mansion but a mysterious force is keeping them in. Is this force part of the reason Zachariah Knox put a time limit on their visit? They need to escape, but to find out how, they need to uncover more of the mysteries in Bearing Tree Manor- all while fighting a cryptic, compelling feeling that keeps rising up inside of them.

With the addition of a new potential ally, Anya Supernova, the group split up to uncover the mysteries of the mansion in search of Sumaya Steele only for Brik and Cain to discover that the front door was locked behind them. With spooky portraits and secret doors lurking in the shadows, and the team on a time limit imposed on them by the creepy groundskeeper, will they be able to find Sumaya in time?

On the case to find missing teen Sumaya Steele, Brik and the crew head to Bearing Tree Manor where they find cantankerous caretaker Zachariah Knox, who seems unwilling to let them in. Cain and Brik will have to try and use their smooth talking and expertise to convince Knox to let them search the grounds, but why is the old man being so protective of an empty house?

Welcome to ARC 2. Your Keeper for this adventure is Alex. The teens in Cloudcatch are like any other: they wear plaid, listen to Pearl Jam, and go missing after they trespass the local haunted mansion looking for ghosts. Charlie Gardener asks Brik Breaker to help find her friend, Sumaya, who went into the old Bearing Tree Manor two days ago, and hasn’t come back out. While Brik is rounding up his cohorts, he finds out that Helen is too busy rebuilding her home from the cow incident to join. Lucky for them, a mysterious stranger has just rolled into town on a cool motorcycle.

But, there are a few hitches in their plans; Henry is proving a tough subject to track, and the gang aren’t quite sure what his motives are concerning Helen’s quaint country cottage.

At the library, they’ll find many clues to hopefully help solve the mystery, though it might uncover more as they dig. If, that is, Cain can successfully flirt with the worker at the front desk to give him answers. First things first, they’ll have to deal with the cantankerous head librarian Sylvia before they can get any work done.

Welcome to The Consultants, a new tabletop RPG podcast that uses to Monster of the Week system to tell the story of a quaint little village in Maine called Cloudcatch. While the village is picturesque and historic, it teems with supernatural entities that bedevil the community. A plucky group of residents have teamed together to protect the town from the mystical mysteries that cause chaos along the rolling hills, dense forests, and trickling streams of Cloudcatch; join them as they solve cases, fight fiends, and save the day, and possibly even uncover centuries-old plots to cause harm to the town.

Session 0- The Setup
Welcome to Cloudcatch, a sleepy little Maine town where everyone knows each other and nothing weird ever happens. Just kidding, this place is teeming with supernatural forces. And someone has to make sure the town doesn’t get overrun with ghosts, vampires, doppelgangers, and the like. Session 0 is a setup episode where the players, with Stephanie as our Keeper for the setup, brainstorm about how Cloudcatch will look and function and who our characters are going to be. This will not effect the plot or any understanding of the story, so feel free to start with Session 1, but this pre-episode is for those who like the forming of the story just as much as the story itself.
