The Director's Lounge was born out of a combination of my love for film history, belief in auteur theory, and my completionist mindset. The goal of The Director's Lounge is simple, explore a filmmaker's career from start to finish while discussing the stories behind the making of and their context within a larger body of work. Your host, Kris Karcher, is joined each episode by a special guest as they work through some amazing careers and discuss some great films, and occasionally some bad ones (we don't gloss over the stinkers).
