    Gilles Villeneuve - My First F1 Hero - Remembered

    This episode is dedicated to the memory of my first F1 hero Gilles Villeneuve. Listen and discover how this young french Canadian  rose to stardom from world snow mobile champion to F1 grand prix winner, driving for Ferrari.  At one point, I let my emotions get to me and chose to leave it in. Then I edited out "In a year" and four weeks it will be 40 years since he left us. I'm leaving that in as well. I gave all I had in this one. It was important to me. No matter how hard I tried, I still made a mistake. I'm not perfect and neither was Gilles. Humility is a good thing :)  Thank you for listening. Stay safe and take care.

    2021 F1 Bahrain GP - How Lewis & Mercedes beat Max & Redbull

    In this episode, I discuss how each driver and team performed at the Bahrain Grand Prix. In conclusion, I discuss from a "Driver's perspective",  the changes I think Mercedes made, to regain rear end stability, lost to the new regulations and their low rake setting. I also discuss the changes Lewis made in order to stay ahead of Max in critical late breaking, high speed passing zones. Add this to the errors made by the Red Bull Strategists, and it was game over.     I hope you enjoy!
