This dark fantasy animated movie almost took out the tyrant that is Disney Animation and left us wondering what the world would be like WITHOUT Disney making films in this episode! Kicking off a new season with a tradition! We are finally wrapping up the greatest trilogy known to man and that is Indiana Jones! Any chance we get to talk about Nazis getting punched in the mouth, we will talk about it! As we enter 2026, we noticed one thing. THIS IS THE YEAR OF MOVIE THEATERS! Everything mentioned on this episode are must see's in theaters but we had to narrow it down to 5! We are on our final week of Winter Summerland and we decided to go to ta theme park! This week we are headed to Spooky Island to solve the case that is Scooby-Doo from 2002. We couldn't do it alone, we needed Logan back from Video Villa Entertainment to help us crack the case and get rid of that pesky Melvin Doo!

Kwan-Tsu, dudes! What happens when you mix surfing, martial arts and Leslie Neilson as a samurai overlord? You get 1993's Surf Ninjas! With a stacked cast, bad ass martial arts and a set of stairs longer than anything you've ever seen. what can go wrong! We are stoked to finally bring this movie to the show and we really hope you enjoy!  

Winter Summerland kicks off with a fairly newer title with Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar! What happens when two best friends leave their small town in the Midwest for the first time? A super villain with an evil plan to take out the hottest resort in Florida with 1000 robotic mosquitos...that's what!

We head to space for our finale of our Stan Winston Month! GalaxyQuest is an all time great and we are so excited to finally get the opportunity to talk about it on the show. Are there a lot of Tim Allan mannerisms....yes. Do we talk like Alan Rickman in this one.....yes again. But none the less, we had a really good time talking about this one!

Week three of Stan Winston Month is BIG! Small Soldiers has found it's way to the show and we couldn't be anymore happy! This movie means so much to us over here and we are so happy with how this episode turned out! Hope you enjoy!

Week two, we are headed to Africa! Stan Winston Month continues with 1995's Congo! We were absolutely split on this movie, but it was a very good conversation. Practical apes, Bruce Campbell, Ernie Hudson with a bad British accent...what could go wrong!?  

New Month!!! We are highlighting the man himself...Stan Winston and of his entire catalog...we are kicking it off with A Gnome Named Gnorm! Pete joins us as we try to rescue all of the lumins and make all of the toes curl! 

It's finally here! The culmination of Universal Monster Month has lead to us covering 1987's The Monster Squad! This movie has been and always will be a crowd favorite over here and this episode explains why!

Week three of our Universal Monster Month brings together the Universal Monster shared universe for the first time. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are unfortunately center stage of this and what they have to do to get out of it is crazy! 

The Universal Monster Month is still trucking along with 1941's The Wolf Man. We needed some back up to talk about this hairy beast, so we had Wyatt of Cinema Trip Reviews join us to talk all things wolf dorks! 

Universal Monster Month kicks off with an all time favorite! Creature From The Black Lagoon has been brought up numerous times on the show and we thought "NOW IS THE TIME!" So sit back and enjoy the ride!

To wrap up Remake Month....we decided to play a little board game! We are stepping into the world of Jumanji! 2017's take on the classic board game brought it to...somewhat relevant times by transforming the table top game into a video game. Will we get sucked in and destroyed by cake?! Find out in this weeks episode.

Let's head to the frozen wasteland in this episode of Remake Month to talk about the MASTER PIECE that is John Carpenter's 1982s The Thing! Everyone attached to this movie made it was it is today and the people from 1982 that caused it to bomb...shame on you! 

Week two of Remake Month and we are headed to the Circus! We are covering Guillermo Del Toro's remake of Nightmare Alley! Stacked cast, stacked director...it doesn't get any better than this!   

New Month and it's all about remakes! We HAD to kick the month off with a movie that we knew would would blow the roof off and that is 2012's Dredd. We needed our brothers in arms from over at BAction to help us talk about this Karl Urban CLASSIC!

To wrap up Sword and Sorcery Month, there could be only one!....movie we did it with and that being 1986's Highlander. We needed backup and we brought Daniel from The Geeks With Beards Podcast to talk about this EPIC MOVIE! We all only had one thing left to say after we were done....and that was "Eh Heh Heh Heh."

Surprise! We dropped a bonus episode in collaboration with Give Me Back My Action/Horror Movies for THE MONTH OF ACTION! What movie did we do? Are there explosions? Is there blood shed? Is it.....animated? The answer is Yes to all of the above! We covered 2015's The Boy and the Beast. 

WE ARE HERE!!! The letter Z!....and in Zootopia...anyone can be anything!! Thank you to everyone who played along this season. We had some absolute BANGERS this season. 

The letter Y is upon us and we were invited to a dinner party to celebrate a wedding anniversary!.....or so we thought. Y is for 2011's You're Next and we had a blast with this one! 

We are so close! X stands for X2: X-Men United and we had to united with our brothers and sister in arms, Give Me Back My Action and Horror Movies to bring you this action packed sequel that is, in our opinions, the best of the best when it comes to the Fox movies. 

We made our way to the letter W and we happen to stumble upon this red jewel! Wyatt is here with us and said it would be a good idea to take the jewel home to get a better look at it! Low and behold, we let the Djinn loose and he made us watch Wishmaster! 

We are here! The letter V is for 1985's Vampire Hunter D! What does the D stand for? Who knows....but what we DO know, is the D could stand for Dissect That Film! Dan and Angela join as we dive deep into this spectacular animation feature that 1985 has to offer! 

Letter U is for double dates! We are covering Up from 2009 and we couldn't think of anyone better to join us than our lovely wives! Holly and Steph sit down and.. SQUIRREL!.....join us on this weeks episode!

Yep...we are on the letter T! Team America: World Police was selected and we feel like we did it justice! Join us as we are given the most EPIC motivational speech and watch a man eat his own head! 

J. Jonah Jameson won this one and that menace was vetoed! That is correct, Spider-Man 2 was vetoed and Paul and Dustin have wondered into an abandoned amusement park...and...it's pretty spooky here. There are spirits, Gods and a really mean old lady that is bossing every one around. We are talking 2002 Spirited Away!

AlrightAlrightAlright.....we are on the letter R this week and it is for Reign of Fire staring Matthew Mcconaugheyyyyyyyyyyyy. We had the best dude Milo on for his first time watch of this movie! What did we think of this post apocalyptic set in a modern time story with DRAGONS!?  

::whispering:: This week on The Flicks and Friends Podcast, we are on the letter Q. Q stands for A Quiet Place. We were joined by Milo to talk about this sci-fi thriller and how much it means to us! So stay quiet, follow the paths and do. not. touch the potato chips.

Well would you look at that.....it's an eclipse! Hopefully we don't crash our spaceship on a remote planet with a highly dangerous criminal aboard and on that planet. It would be even worse if that planet was infested with blood thirsty monsters that only come out during the eclipse.....but what are the odds of that? Anyways...we had our good friends from Dissect That Film on to talk about the letter P! 

Yeah.........so we are going to need you to check out this weeks episoooode. The letter O is for Office Space! We had good friend of the show, Blake Allen jump on and give us his best "O Face." We are more than half way through our ABC-eason and it has been a blast so far! You better give us our red stapler back......or we will burn the building down.  

N is the next letter up and N is for Nightbreed! This movie means a lot to one of us and the other.....well...you'll just have to listen! We were joined by Ray (Scare Pair) for this one and we talk all things horror, make up and why is Midian a well known place to everyone but Boone!
