After an off-season of change, the New York Red Bulls are back to begin their 25th MLS season! We break down all of the events that took place this winter, and how they set the Red Bulls up to tackle the 2020 campaign.  

The Red Bulls 2019 MLS campaign ended in a way that all so many other seasons have concluded. We re-cap the latest “That’s So Metro” chapter of the Red Bulls history, and what’s next for the MLS franchise that’s still searching for their first league title.

The Red Bulls finished their 2019 MLS regular season campaign by falling flat on their faces in Montreal. We look back at the less than stellar finish to the regular season, and ponder what are the Red Bulls really capable of in the MLS Cup Playoffs. 

The Red Bulls pulled in 6 points last week, and in the process booked their trip to the 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs! We re-cap New York’s road trip to the Pacific Northwest, and their win at home against Philly, as well as preview the regular season home finale vs DC United.

The Red Bulls downward spiral continued with a shocking loss at home to the lowly Colorado Rapids. As MLS heads into the international break, we analyze what ills the Red Bulls, and if they can be cured in time to save their 2019 campaign.

The Red Bulls made it thru MLS Rivalry Week with a win, a draw, and a loss. A look back at the draw to New England, the big win at DC, and the resounding loss at Yankee Stadium to NYCFC, as well as a preview of the contest this Saturday night at Red Bull Arena against the Colorado Rapids.

There was no California Dreamin’ for the Red Bulls out in the City of Angels, as they were soundly beaten by LAFC. We re-cap the loss out in LA, look ahead to 3 big matches in 8 days with New England, DC, and NYCFC, and try to make sense of what Red Bull really want from their MLS franchise. 

 The Red Bulls bounced back from a putrid performance vs. Columbus with a good enough effort to get past Toronto. We re-cap the win vs. TFC, react to the latest player transactions, and get you set for the big showdown Sunday evening in “The City of Angels” vs. LAFC. 

 Before they begin a challenging 5 game stretch of contests vs playoff contending teams, the Red Bulls fell flat on their faces at home against the Crew.  The Red Bulls navigated 3 challenging contests in 8 days, managing to pick up 6 crucial points in the standings.  The Red Bulls overcame injuries, suspensions, international absences, and travel headaches to grab 4 points over the course of 8 days. We re-cap the Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta matches, and get you ready for the Hudson River Derby vs NYCFC Sunday night at Red Bull Arena.  

 The Red Bulls are back from their Gold Cup break, and they could be getting some big pieces back into their lineup. We preview New York’s upcoming match vs. the Chicago Fire, which may involve the return of Bradley Wright-Phillips, look ahead to a congested schedule involving 6 games in 24 days, and we check in on Red Bulls currently on international duty at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

 The Red Bulls enter into the Gold Cup break on a sour note after back to back losses, which included being bounced from the U.S. Open Cup. We break down all of New York’s breakdowns vs. Philadelphia & New England, and look ahead at what’s in store for the Red Bulls when MLS play resumes.

The Red Bulls exploded in the second half against Real Salt Lake on Fireworks Night at Red Bull Arena to extend their unbeaten streak to 5 games. We look back at the 4-0 victory over RSL, and preview the MLS match down in Chester, PA vs the Philadelphia Union, as well as the U.S. Open Cup contest vs the New England Revolution on the campus of Montclair State University.

 After some spectacular saves from their captain Luis Robles in the first half of their encounter with FC Cincinnati, the NY Red Bulls finally broke through against the expansion club in the second half. We look back at the 2-0 win in Cincy, give some credit to the job Chris Armas has done as of late as head coach, and look ahead to Real Salt Lake’s visit to Red Bull Arena Saturday night.

 Following a spirited victory over the defending MLS Cup champs on Sunday, the NY Red Bulls found a way to disappoint once again in a draw to Vancouver. We review the matches against Atlanta United and Vancouver Whitecaps, and preview the trip to Ohio for a clash vs. struggling FC Cincinnati.

 The Red Bulls got back into the win column with an impressive victory in Texas over FC Dallas. We break down what the “new look Red Bulls” were able to do vs Dallas to grab their first road triumph of the 2019 MLS campaign, and if NY has it in them to do the same at home against the defending MLS Cup champion Atlanta United.

 After a rousing 3-2 victory over the LA Galaxy last weekend, the Red Bulls came crashing back to reality with a midweek home loss to the Montreal Impact. We try to piece together who the real NY Red Bulls are, and can they deliver a better performance on the road in Dallas.

 Well it may have been ugly, but the Red Bulls finally snapped their 5 game winless streak in a win over FC Cincinnati. We review the positives and negatives from the victory, preview the upcoming clash at Red Bull Arena vs the LA Galaxy, and give our opinions on how to improve the annual MLS All-Star Game.

The winless streak reaches 5 games now for the Red Bulls after a 1-0 defeat up on the rainy field turf in Foxboro. We try to make sense of what is going on with all aspects of the Red Bulls, give our thoughts on the light punishment for Kaku, and if New York can somehow find a way to win on Saturday vs. FC Cincinnati. 

 The Red Bulls winless streak reached 4 games after they failed to hold the lead at Kansas City. We look back at the draw vs. Sporting KC which involved an ugly incident with Kaku, give our thoughts on the latest Thierry Henry rumors, and preview New York’s trip up to Foxboro for a battle with fellow bottom feeder New England Revolution. 

 Things have gone from bad to worse for the NY Red Bulls after another lackluster defeat. Will New York shake off the loss to Chicago and respond with a victory over Minnesota United...or will the Loons inflict more misery upon the Red Bulls?

 The Red Bulls followed up a less than stellar performance against San Jose with an even worse effort at home against Orlando City. What is wrong with the Red Bulls, and will they be able to right themselves on the road against the Chicago Fire?

The Red Bulls overcame a dreadful first half vs San Jose, and the loss of Florian Valot to yet another ACL injury, with 4 second half goals to notch their first win of the 2019 MLS campaign. We breakdown the Red Bulls play vs the Earthquakes, and preview the upcoming match at Red Bull Arena vs Orlando City.

 Following a well earned draw in Columbus to open MLS play in 2019, the Red Bulls were whalloped by Santos in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League. We revisit what went wrong for New York, and what their response should be against the San Jose Earthquakes.

  The Red Bulls dispatched of Atletico Pantoja in CONCACAF Champions League play to advance to a quarter-final date with Mexican powerhouse Santos. We wrap up the Round of 16 tie with Pantoja, re-cap the Red Bulls media day, and look ahead to the kick-off of the 2019 MLS season...as New York heads to Columbus to spar with the Crew.

Following a hard fought 1-0 victory in Philly, the Red Bulls head into the final week of the 2018 season with a chance to make MLS history. We look back at the win over the Union, and preview their “Decision Day” encounter with Orlando City.

The Red Bulls avoided the trap game syndrome out on the West Coast, as they handled the lowly San Jose Earthquakes 3-1. New York now heads down the Jersey Turnpike to battle the Philadelphia Union, as they look to keep the heat on Atlanta United.

The Red Bulls made a statement against Atlanta United w/a big 2-0 victory without the services of Bradley Wright-Phillips and Tyler Adams. Now New York must fly out to the West Coast one last time in 2018 for what could be a tricky encounter with the San Jose Earthquakes.

The Red Bulls needed a Bradley Wright-Phillips hat trick to save a point in DC. Now they must put their current defensive woes behind them for a critical home match-up vs. the defending, yet struggling, MLS Cup champion Toronto FC.

Following the debacle in The Bronx, the Red Bulls responded in a positive manner with back to back victories over DC and Houston. We analyze each 1-0 win, and preview New York’s match “North of the Border” in Montreal against the Impact.
