Episode 6 - The power of your testimony : your pain has a purpose
Your story matters more than you think. In this episode, we talk about how God uses your testimony — not your perfection — to reach others. The very things you’ve tried to hide… the pain, the past, the mistakes, the healing… are the same things God can use to save someone else.We look at the woman at the well in John 4 and how one encounter with Jesus transformed her entire life. She didn’t go back to her town with a sermon — she went back with her story, and an entire community met Jesus because of it.Just like her, your story carries power. In this episode, we explore:•Why your past doesn’t disqualify you•How God turns broken pieces into purpose•Why your testimony is someone else’s breakthrough•How God can use your story exactly as it isIf you’ve ever wondered, “Does my story even matter?”— this episode will remind you:It does. God can use it. And someone needs to hear it.Tune in and be encouraged.🎧 The Good Good Podcast — where we talk about God, life, and everything in between.https://www.youtube.com/@Feliciteakoubainstagram : @felicite_akouba@thegoodgoodpodhttps://www.youtube.com/@Feliciteakouba instagram : @felicite_akouba @thegoodgoodpod

Episode 5 - How to heal Shame & Guilt
Shame is one of the enemy’s most powerful weapons — a silent prison that convinces us we are unworthy of love, belonging, or purpose. But God never intended for us to live that way. In this episode, we take a deep and honest journey into what shame really is, where it comes from, and how God offers healing, freedom, and identity in Christ. We begin in Genesis — a picture of life before shame, where Adam and Eve were fully vulnerable yet felt no fear, no hiding, and no condemnation. But after the fall, everything changed. Shame introduced hiding, fear, and broken identity — the same patterns many of us still carry today. We also explore the difference between guilt and shame, using insights from Brené Brown:•Guilt says: “I did something bad.”•Shame says: “I am bad.”Shame doesn’t just attack actions — it attacks identity. In this vulnerable episode, I open up about my own journey with shame: being born into a relationship outside marriage, experiencing childhood molestation, being blamed for the trauma, falling into unhealthy relationships, and living under the lie that I was “damaged” and “unworthy.” Shame became my lens — shaping my thoughts, relationships, confidence, and even my calling. But God didn’t leave me there.Through His Word, His presence, and His healing love, God lifted the shame I carried for years. Today, I walk in freedom — knowing my past is covered by the blood of Jesus, my sins are forgiven, and my identity is found in Him alone. This episode is a reminder that:Your past does not define youYou are not the mistakes you made God calls you chosen, loved, and redeemedThrough Scriptures like 2 Corinthians 5:17, Jeremiah 1:5, Romans 8:1, and Isaiah 61:7, we uncover God’s heart for those who feel unworthy, ashamed, or stuck in who they used to be.In this episode, you’ll discover:•The difference between guilt and shame•Why shame attacks identity•How childhood wounds shape adult behaviors•The power of Christ to heal deep emotional scars•How to replace lies of shame with God’s truth•Why forgiveness — especially forgiving yourself — is part of healingIf you are carrying shame today, this is your invitation:Come into God’s presence. Lay it down. Let Him rewrite your story. You are forgiven. You are chosen. You are made new.Because, as I share in this episode:“God is not looking for your perfection. He’s just looking for your heart.https://www.youtube.com/@Feliciteakouba instagram : @felicite_akouba @thegoodgoodpod

Welcome back to The Good Good Podcast—and if it’s your first time tuning in, I’m so glad you’re here. In this episode, I’m diving deep into one of the most powerful stories in Scripture: the widow in 2 Kings 4. She had nothing but a little oil—and God used it to fill every empty jar she brought.Have you ever felt like you had nothing left to give? Emotionally drained, spiritually dry, or just plain tired?
