    Thank You for Your Service Featuring Dub Whitworth

    We owe our United States Veterans a debt of gratitude. Dub Whitworth is a 91 year old veteran of the Korean War who is near and dear to our hearts and part of The Honey Bee Hill family. He left home as a 17 year old young man to join the military as a way to support himself and was sent to the war in North Korea at 18. He and Nancy, his lovely wife of nearly 70 years welcomed us to their home for a great visit that we were honored to record.     Destinee “Desi" was a vibrant, little fireball. Despite lifelong health issues, at 19 she was a college freshman, athlete, big sister and inspiration to all who knew her. But less then two weeks after her 19th birthday her life was tragically cut short by a drunk driver while on an outing with her two younger sisters. Her mother wants all to know that her story did not end that night. Destinee’s legacy lives on and as a testament to her life her mom has found a way to forgive and carry on.

Greg Conroy and Morley Levine fought in Viet Nam. Morley was wounds and came back a changed man. Alexander Barrow fought in World War II and was off the coast of Japan when the bomb was dropped! We are honored they allowed us to help tell their stories.
