Hi fammo. I'm moving house again soon so this may be the last one of these for a WHILE. As a result it's 3 hours and 40 minutes long!Hell of a stream. Had to evacuate my building due to a fire alarm, kept the stream rolling with a long long tune while I was outside with the Fire Brigade, then made the front page of Twitch. All in a days work.Seeya soon. In the meantime get in the Discord!

I did a stream and played the whole of Pendulums new LP 'Inertia'.Then I played cool tunes for 90 minutes after that.This poddy is the last tune on Inertia called Cartagena, and the rest of the stream.New Pendulum is out, go get it!

Drum and Bass and other things cause it's wicked yeah.Recorded 15th of July and we got put on the Twitch front page which resulted about 200 people more than normal hitting the stream and absolutely none of them chatted a single word and we got 6 new followers. Wow :D

On this weeks edition of The Hornest Nest we bid a sad farwell to a fellow Twitch streamer, burner71.Chris Burner Clay was a streamer, a pirate radio host, a BMX head from the 80's and a proper jungle and DNB head through and through. I raided into Burner countless times over the last 5 years and he was always up, always on, and always playing good tunes. He lived for it.I will miss seeing him in the chat and watching his streams. RIP sir.

Back on the tools after a homelessness hitatus. This is Nest 3.75.Drum and Bass, Recorded on November 12th, 2024.I bought a XDJ-RX3 and this stream was quite literally the first time I'd turned it on, let alone ever mixed on one haha. Enjoy.

A milestone stream that ran for 4 dang hours!A little over 4 years ago The Hornets Nest was born. Transmitting from the utility closet of a Western Australian beach house, I really had no idea what to expect from the world of online streaming as I'd paid it very little attention in the past.Due to Covid I found myself stuck in my hometown which felt all too alien after living overseas for 17 years. I'd decided to move home at the end of 2019 as I had a child on the way and a 3 year old who I wanted to grow into a full sick Aussie kid like I was. Little did I know that a few short months after that move, the world would go into lockdown and our borders would close.Fast forward to June 2020 and I had a 3 month old baby, a career in tatters, and a marriage on the rocks. I realised that for once in my life I had all my records in one place and unpacked. So amidst the most elevated stress levels I've ever experienced I turned to Twitch and constructed a extremely basic streaming setup. Some of the OG's reference 'broom cam' periodically as I quite literally taped an old webcam to a broom handle, pointed it sort of towards my turntables and hit 'go live'.If not for the community of Twitch I do not know how my life would have panned out. I fear it might have gone very differently to how it did and I owe a debt of gratitude to the platform and to the fans for keeping me connected to the world that I had previously hopped around so freely.It was a blessing and it got me through the darkest days.I am eternally grateful.We've grown, we 've lost and we've loved.Heres to you, the moisities, the bushpigs, the Nest gang. Thank you.

Recorded live on Twitch on the 8th of August 2023.I have reached the milestone of 7000 Twitch followers, hooray!This absolutely took fkn forever on the slowest growth platform on earth however I didn't get my tatties out once and no hottubs were required to gain this accolade.I have a 1.7% subscriber to follower ratio on Twitch so if you're one of the 120 subscribers out of 7000 followers of my channel on Twitch - thanks a whole lot. I know many of you in person now too and am super stoked I got to meet you IRL or chat breeze with you online.Given 99% of my peers have stopped streaming DJ sets I am glad to still be on the platform delivering good times on a weekly basis but you gotta ask yourself sometimes .. what is the point? The point is I love DJ'ing but one day a time will come where the effort vs reward becomes undeniable. This has been my job for over 20 years and there is only so many hours in the day. If you'd like to see this continue throw your pennies in the ring! Recorded on the 14th of July, this stream was a Friday night session at home with the homies. Just like we used to do back in the day all the crew came round for a mix and everyone brought records.This stream features DJ's Sinistah, Kev, Rousa, Weaponess, Saran, and myself. Super fun session I've split into 2 parts as it ran for 4 hours.Enjoy!

Recorded on the 7th of June, this stream was a comemmoration of sorts for a fallen Nest soldier.Sadly, Greg Tangey aka Ruxton, lost his life after a super heavy heart issue. I'd known Greg since around 1999 and my fellow Pendulum member Rob Swire had known him for even longer. He was one of the first supporters of my stream and front and centre at every show during my early pre-Pendulum days before I left Australia. A great DJ, an accomplished MC and my kinda nerd.  A supporter of everyones efforts in music, always there with a positivity that many of us needed to push us forward. He will be missed. RIP Greg.

I am packing up the studio, the records are all in boxes, the stream machine and cameras are in storage. Moving house with a record collection the size of mine is pure hell. It took me so long to get it unpacked last time that I shudder at the thought of getting it all set up again.I don't know when I'll be back so for now I bid you farewell. Recorded on my Mums birthday 14/12/22. A series of 6's. Her mum is 96, she's 66, I'm 46 and my eldest kidlet is 6.Anyway I went down the coast for a couple days downtime and as soon as I got home I turned on the stream machine at like 10pm and made some DJ fun times! No plans, all the genres. Wild style.Maximum.

Still in a vinyl mood so my usual Monday stream was DNB/Jungle vinyl this week.Recorded on the 5th of Dec 2022. Lots of good tunes and one record I stopped half way through as it was hot garbage. They can't all be winners but you are.Good bants, nice crew, wonderful music. Rinse out.

Recorded live on Twitch the 3rd of December 2022.I've been feeling inspired to look back on some of the records in my collection that I used to play before Pendulum existed. Dj'ing for me in those days (pre 2003) was a really varied affair and the sound of Drum and Bass seemed to evolve and change so quickly it was hard to keep up.No rhyme or reason to this mix, just great records really.Enjoy.
