Because she saw injustice. She decided she won't be helpless and she won’t be the product of the dependent scenario. She broke that stereotype away. She was the only one, at that time, who chose to raise her voice. She made up her mind that she will stand up for herself and for others who were afraid to speak. A Leap out of the “comfort zone”.
