While the global spotlight shines on nuclear threats from Iran and North Korea, one state's arsenal remains shrouded in secrecy: Israel. With an estimated 80–400 nuclear warheads and a long history of military aggression and immoral behaviour, Israel has never signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)—and yet it receives virtually no international scrutiny but plenty of aid and diplomatic cover.

All societies must look back at their past with a critical eye. To accept that at some points along their histories there were inappropriate, immoral and even evil acts of injustice towards others. In the case of Israel, no action, especially immoral and evil acts, are even held to account. On the contrary, these acts are blessed and held high not as acts of terror but only as acts of resistance.

Most Western political leadership repeat the term The Most Moral Army in the world, when referring to the Israeli Defense Forces, the IDF. Such propaganda is typically left unchecked by the mainstream media regardless of what the common person sees right before their eyes in terms of genocidal actions taken by the IDF.

Arab unity over the last century has been in the words, minds and lore of all Arabs. This idea that all Arabs have a collective consciousness that makes them a powerful group of connected people rose to glory over a half century, only to come quickly crashing down thereafter. So, what make the Arabs think this way of themselves? What are the unifying factors, and what are the opposing realities that combat this dream of a union?

Nothing can justify a superiority complex by one group of people over another. Superiority is one thing when discussing the Zionist attitudes towards the greater population of the world, but when it comes to Palestinians, superiority doesn’t even come close to the dehumanising strategies and actions that have taken place over the course of the last century.

Once Arabs began the shift in their way of life, of their nomadism and slowly became urbanised, the internal conflict between their tribal belief and behavioural systems continued for many centuries. Not enough time elapsed to gradually migrate the mindset from one shaped in the desert versus the a mentality requiring new sets of rules, civility and behaviour. Even those that had been modernised for many decades or centuries, retain certain fundamental traditions of the tribal consciousness.

Arabs suffer from a long and systematic stereotyping from the West. From the Orientalist movement of the 18th century till today, Western perceptions of Arabs and by extension Muslims, are based on what they have been conditioned to believe through the media be it in the form of literature, art, and more recently, movies and television, the tribal sheikh, the belly dancing concubine, the filthy rich oil billionaire and the token terrorist.

Zionism over the last century has had the upper hand in spinning its web of narratives concerning the occupation of the Palestinian territories. Such a well-coordinated task was left to the Hasbara, Israel's propaganda machine, which decade after next, was able to brainwash most of the Western world, the global powers at the time, in dehumanising the Palestinian people and justifying all the inhumane actions committed by Zionists.

The beginning of a nation for Palestinians won’t come with a peace. No Zionist has shown any will for a peaceful resolution to the crisis. The opportunity for a Palestinian state will only come with the likeliest of fates, and that is the end of the Zionist state as we know. Not due to any war or forced global pressure, but only through the increasing moral decay of the nation, through its own fragmentation and ultimately through the renunciation and total end to Zionism.
