Ep 13 - Panchtantra - The Courageous Climber

Welcome back to the warm glow of The Katha Lantern! On this journey, host Rutu and our favorite little explorer, Ira, are opening a brilliant Lantern Letter about what to do when we feel jittery because other people tell us something is just too hard. Have you ever wanted to try something bold, but loud, worried voices made your tummy feel a little wobbly?Inside our newest tale, we travel to the bottom of a deep, dark, and very slippery stone well to meet a group of tiny frogs. When they try to climb to the very top, the slick, glowing moss makes almost everyone lose their bravery. As friends like Chintu and Minti slide back down, they start shouting frantic warnings, telling the last frog, Ravi, to give up before he falls! But Ravi does something magnificent—he just keeps climbing with a giant, valiant smile! How does this courageous little frog conquer the impossible climb while everyone else is panicking? (Hint: Sometimes, tuning out the noise is your greatest superpower!)Grab a cozy spot, turn off the bright screens, stay curious as you grow, and let your imaginations glow!🎨 The Katha Canvas: Little explorers, it is time to grab your magical canvas and your brightest colors! For our gallery this time, you have two super fun choices to draw from our mossy adventure:Grab your brightest green crayon and draw our valiant little frog, Ravi, climbing with a giant, happy smile!Draw the tall, cool stone well with a beautiful beam of golden sunlight shining all the way down from the very top!✨ For the Grown-Ups: Parents, snap a photo of your child’s masterpiece (don't forget to include their name and age!) and send it to us via DM on Instagram at @TheKathaLantern. We would be thrilled to add it to our glowing community Katha Canvas Highlights gallery! If your little explorers felt a little more courageous after this adventure, please hit the '+' sign on Apple Podcasts, or tap the 'Follow' button and the little bell icon 🔔 on Spotify.
