What happens when men create safe spaces?
Send us Fan MailWhat happens when a professional dancer from a tough background decides to revolutionise mental health support? Reiss Craig-Micheal Loftus takes us on a powerful journey from dancing on cruise ships to founding the award-winning Brotherhood Legion CIC and Sisterhood Midlands - organisations transforming how we approach wellbeing and community.Growing up surrounded by poverty, crime, and limited opportunities, Reiss found his escape through dance. This passion eventually took him around the world as a professional performer. But beneath the success, he battled substance abuse and struggled to find genuine connection. During lockdown, everything changed. Facing uncertainty about his career and seeking more control over his future, Reiss began organising small meetups with men who needed routine and support. What started as simple check-ins evolved into a movement that's changing, and sometimes saving lives.Brotherhood Legion isn't your typical mental health organisation. Through weekend fitness sessions, coffee meetups, hikes, retreats, and constant WhatsApp support, Reiss has created something far more profound: a true community where people can shed their performative masks and embrace vulnerability. The impact is staggering. Members who once contemplated suicide now lead group discussions. Men who couldn't make eye contact now organise social events. Women find spaces to express struggles that their cultures typically silence. Through it all, Reiss demonstrates that healing happens in relationship, not isolation. The future looks bright as Brotherhood Legion expands its reach toward youth programs, workplace wellbeing, and larger community initiatives. Reiss's journey reminds us that our greatest struggles can become our greatest gifts to others when we're brave enough to share them. Ready to find your tribe? The Kaur Aura Approach: Nurturing mind, body, and soul through women-centered well-being
Send us Fan MailPicture this: You've tried countless diets, followed dozens of nutrition and fitness plans, but something still feels missing. True wellbeing isn't just about what's on your plate, it's about reconnecting with yourself on a soul level. At Kaur Aura, we've created something different. While we absolutely help women change their diets and build healthier movement habits, our approach goes deeper. We're passionate about nurturing your soul, not just shifting your body. Through personalised support, we guide women to create protected time for themselves, slow down, tune inward, and rediscover what brings them genuine joy.Our women-centered approach recognises that female bodies change dramatically throughout our lives. Whether you're navigating your twenties and thirties while balancing career pressures, experiencing pregnancy and motherhood, riding the rollercoaster of perimenopause, or embracing menopause and beyond, we understand that each stage brings unique challenges requiring tailored support. What worked for you at 25 might feel completely wrong at 45, and that's perfectly normal. Many women come to me feeling disconnected from themselves after years of putting everyone else first. That self-neglect often manifests physically. did you know women are more prone to autoimmune diseases precisely because we ignore our own needs until our bodies scream for attention? Through daily check-ins, evidence-based nutrition guidance, and plenty of compassion (plus the occasional joke because laughter genuinely helps regulate hormones!), we rebuild your relationship with your body, mind, and soul. The transformation goes far beyond physical changes. Clients report profound internal shifts, better energy, improved sleep, healthier self-image, greater clarity, and a deeper connection to their authentic selves. That's the magic that happens when you finally make space for your own wellbeing.Ready to experience the Kaur Aura difference? Returning of The Kaur Aura Podcast
Send us Fan MailReturning after a long-awaited break, The Kaur Aura Podcast kicks off its second series with a candid conversation about transformation, courage, and finding your authentic self. When I started Kaur Aura in 2021, I was approaching 40 and facing a crossroads. My physical and mental health were suffering from years of unhealthy patterns, and I found myself "fed up of feeling fed up." The pandemic became my wake-up call – a moment to reflect on mortality and purpose. What began as personal changes to my nutrition and lifestyle gradually evolved into a business helping others make similar transformations.Four years into this journey, I've experienced tremendous growth both personally and professionally. Being nominated for business awards still feels surreal considering where I started – from a place of self-doubt and uncertainty to creating a thriving nutrition practice focused on women-centered care. This path hasn't been without challenges, including financial considerations that have led me back to midwifery part-time, but each experience has contributed to my evolution. The Kaur Aura approach is built on knowledge first – "we need to know different to do different." Many of us struggle with nutrition because we lack understanding, not willpower. I've witnessed this pattern both in my personal journey and with clients who discover that education creates the foundation for lasting change. This series will introduce my friend Kiki as a regular co-host on select episodes. Despite living on different continents, we connected through our parallel journeys of transformation and spirituality. Together, we'll explore personal growth, nutrition, fitness, and the sometimes challenging but rewarding path of spiritual awakening. The podcast aims to create a judgment-free space where listeners can find support, inspiration, and practical guidance. Whether you're just beginning your transformation or well along your path, I hope you'll join us in building a community focused on authenticity, empowerment, and living your best life.Have you been feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? What small step might you take today toward positive change?Support the show
