As our 75th Anniversary celebration continues, we’re proud to premiere a special commemorative video featuring our CEO and all ten members of the DTC Board of Directors. Then, we sit down with DTC Network Administrator Chris Young, who shares the story behind his career path and what led him to the world of technology. Finally, Justin closes out the program by keeping us up to speed with the latest headlines in our Tech News Roundup.

We’ve got even more to celebrate than just starting the new year. 2026 is a very special year for DeKalb Telephone Cooperative (DTC Communications) because it marks the 75th Year in business.  We take a retrospective look at how life has changed since those early years, as well as where things are today.  Join us for fun interviews with DTC’s Chief Executive Officer Kasey Krueger, as well as Construction Coordinator Louie Jack Medley. Tech Tips abound as well with Justin’s advice on avoiding those pesky telemarketing calls on your cell phone.

The end of the year is near, which must mean that Christmas time is here. We start this special Christmas episode by pulling some serious strings so we could welcome the guest who has traveled the farthest for our podcast…Santa Claus from the North Pole!  Then we speak with Bill Gash to learn about the amazing supportive mission and helping opportunities of Live and Let Live in Smithville. Of course we still have plenty of helpful tech talk too, including Justin explaining the convenience of remote access.

Thanksgiving is near, and we’re thankful for this month’s collection of guests.
