It's time to talk about the most grotesque Disney Channel Original Movie. Don't Look Under the Bed (1999) is a story about imaginary friends, boogie people, and the death of innocence. We spend a lot of time talking about a Boogie Man's toes, weirdly-specific pranks, power clashing, and a teen who is named 'Frances Bacon' for some reason. 

whoo boy. Mom's got a date with a bubble. Listen as we get into two Disney Channel Original Movies that flippantly deal with the trauma of children experiencing their parents' divorces. We also get into the majesty of Caroline Rhea and her potential obsession with rockabilly, Charles Shaughnessy (Mr. Sheffield) looking good in some jeans, and why cool teens in Disney movies are always doing extreme sports. 

We really had some fun with space/time for this one. Join us as we discuss the duality of godking Jake Gyllenhaal in not one but two iconic roles: Bubble Boy and Donnie Darko. Other topics we got into: cool teens and why they were so moody in the early 2000's and whether or not you can really make a boner go away by reciting the pledge of allegiance. 

It's our first podcast episode. We take a deep-ish dive into the 2001 comedy Rat Race. Subtopics include: Rowan Atkinson, John Cleese, and Cuba Gooding Jr. are all problematic men who have not changed with the times. Everyone in this movie should be arrested, dead, or severely injured. Hi, we're Constante Quirino and Becca Hollander. Like many of you, we're two best friends who decided to create a podcast instead of going to therapy. This is just a quick teaser episode in which we decided to play first date ice breakers from Marie Claire and other notable publications. We also argue about Google doc access and discuss some of the pop culture themes, TV and movie genres that'll be featured in later episodes.
