Ep. 2 - A Lesson Learned Lately by Nikita Gill
Credits : Reader : Alurinaa https://www.instagram.com/alurinaa/ Poem Title : A Lesson Learned Lately by Nikita Gill https://www.instagram.com/nikita_gill/?hl=en Backsong : Prelude In A-Flat by Jackson Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eka3jKwoZc0 Cover Art by https://www.instagram.com/cznl_94/ Produced by cznl_94 with Audacity https://www.audacityteam.org/ Poem Script : https://www.instagram.com/p/BxP1vmZHqoY/ Ask me what I find ugly about myself, and I will point out wound after scar, everything that hasn’t healed right, everything that I wished away, wished better, wished alive. I have a thousand words for each injury, ten thousand to give to my flaws’ tragedies, yet if someone asked, “Name something beautiful about yourself,” the seconds feel like centuries of stifled silence. And I wonder why it feels like I’m safer when I’m languishing in self-hatred, but have no kind words for the spirit that has sustained me, the body that has loved me, and the mind that has tried its best to heal from every cruel memory. Perhaps the only way to start loving myself is constantly reminding my heart that I deserve better from me.

Don't Quit - John Greenleaf Whittier
Credits : Reader : @alurinaa Poem Title : Don't Quit by John Greenleaf Whittier Backsong : Trapestry by Gemine Cover Art : The Reader by @cznl_94 Poem Script : When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When fund are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is starnge with its twists and turns As every one of us sometimes learns And many a failure comes about When he might have won had he stuck it out; Don't give up though the pace seems slow You may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are It may be near when it seems a far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit It's when things seem worst that you must not quit. For all the sad words of tounge or pen The sadest are these:"It might have been!"
