The "SACRED 6" is a toolkit for the simple, natural actions anyone can take to help them life a healthier, more active and more fulfilling life. The word "SACRED" is an acronym for the 6 lifestyle habits that are the focus of the individual episodes:Episode 2: S for "Spiritualize" - Find your purposeEpisode 3: A for "Associate" - The effects of positive and negative relationshipsEpisode 4: C for "Consume" - Being aware of what we consume through all 5 of our sensesEpisode 5: R for "Rest" - Healthy sleep habitsEpisode 6: E for Exercise - The importance of physical movementEpisode 7: D for Decompress - The negative effects of stress on the body and mindDr. Deb Doherty is a retired Physical Therapist and professor. After she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, she dedicated the rest of her career to Oncology (Cancer) Rehab and cancer treatment and prevention.
