Down in San Diego County, you're seeing some patchy fog along the coast this morning. It should burn off by mid-morning, elsewhere, skies are mostly clear. Tonight, expect mostly clear conditions across Greater Los Angeles with a low around 58 degrees. San Diego drops to about 54, in the Inland Empire, look for a low near 54. Sunday brings the first big jump, it's going to feel like summer. Downtown Los Angeles tops out at 86 degrees, head to the Inland Empire. And highs soar to near 94, san Diego stays a bit cooler, with the coast reaching 77 degrees. But the real story is the heat arriving next week. We've an Extreme Heat Watch in effect from Monday evening through Friday evening. This is dangerous stuff, tuesday could be the peak, with Downtown LA hitting 101 degrees. The Inland Empire might reach 100, even the coast will bake, with highs in the 90s. This is about 54 degrees above normal for mid-March. Looking ahead.
