The Sweety Treaty Show is produced in the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the peoples of the Treaty 7: the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika Nation, the Piikani Nation, the Kainai Nation), our Dene relations (Tsuut’ina Nation), and the Iyarhe Nakoda relations (Chiniki Nation, Bearspaw Nation, and Wesley Nation). The Métis who make this land their home are a part of Métis's Region 3. We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and that the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which means "elbow." We now call this place the City of Calgary.
