Dr Colvert is Senior Lecturer in English Education at the University of Roehampton. She was part of the team that developed the very successful phonics game ‘Teach Your Monster To Read’. Is the UK sleepwalking towards weaker human rights protections? While the economic and political consequences of the UK’s exit from the EU have been, and continue to be, fiercely debated; there has been little discussion about the impact Brexit will have on human rights protections in Britain. Dr Katie Boyle is a constitutional lawyer specialising in human rights and a senior lecturer at the University of Roehampton. Katie says the UK is sleepwalking towards a new constitutional order where basic human rights are a lot less secure.

Dr. James Davies argues the psychiatric pharmaceutical industry continues to put riches ahead of patients' well-being. Dr. Davies is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Roehampton. He is the author of Cracked: Why Psychiatry is Doing More Harm Than Good. It's been three years since that book was published. However, Dr. Davies argues his diagnosis for what ails the psychiatric profession has not improved.
