Time For Meditation | Reset Refresh
MeditationWelcome to our Reset Refresh meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.There is something magical about the early morning sun casting a gentle glow as it rises. Its rays allowing a drop of dew to seemingly dance on the end of a blade of grass. Imagine you are sitting quietly in the early morning sun, breathing in the beautiful beginning of a new day. As the sun slowly blankets the garden around you, take this moment to Reset and Refresh. Stop and enjoy all the sights and sounds in this peaceful garden oasis.There is no rush, no hurry, you are invited to sit by the water and reflect in the stillness. Let all of your worries go and embrace the beauty of the landscape around you. Without fear or hesitation, let go of what does not serve you today releasing it in the soft glow of the sun.Perhaps you sit down by the water’s edge and find peace in its quiet rhythm. You notice that the trees and thick foliage are mirrored in the water’s reflection as though they are painted on smooth glass.Perhaps you put your feet in the warm sand, grounding yourselfin the moment. You are at peace in this tranquil setting. Sit with that feeling of calm for a few moments, just breathing and being. Soften your neck and shoulders as you sit in serenity. Stress has no place here – take this moment to reset and refresh.Take one more deep cleansing breath in and slowly exhale out. This is what self-care looks like, allowingyourself those much-needed moments to just breathe and be.Feel your body letting go of all that ruffles your feathers – stress, worry, tension. All these things can be left behind as you tend to YOU without guilt, without hesitation. You are allowed this moment of quiet stillness.The Northern Flicker goes about their day as the world moves around them. Simply content to be. It pauses to recharge from foraging when necessary and then takes flight.The crow sits watchful, unhurried, commanding presence. There is something in that — the ability to remain fully present, fully aware, while sitting in stillness. While the Spotted Towhee is happy to stay near the ground, unbothered by what is happening above. It sits in quiet confidence knowing that it does not need to soar to know its own worth.Our bodies were not designed to stay on heightened alert, and it is important to find that balance of being aware while remaining calm and present. Like water off a duck’s back, let whatever negativity comes your way, roll right off. Re-set. Re-focus.Taking these moments to breathe, add to our ability to be resilient, even in the harsh seasons of our lives. You are not alone in this journey; you are doing your best to survive in the landscape you are in.Allowing yourself to sit quietly, unbothered, unhurried, in quiet solitude is wise. There is no rush, no hurry, it simply becomes, sharing and spreading its beauty.Notice how the water receives every reflection without pause. There is no imagining it will not be, it simply is. Time For Meditation | Seascapes
Welcome to our Seascapes meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.Imagine… you are sitting on a quiet beach with your feet nestled in the soft brown sand. You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and hear the ocean waves dancing with the shore. The seagulls welcome your presence. Notice the gentle ocean rhythm, the ebb and flow of the tide. You are part of this rhythm. Notice the vivid blue sky and the sunlight glistening off the water. Feel the calm wash all over you. You are safe in this moment.Give your body permission to soften. As you continue this journey, gently adjust your sail and head into the wind’s flowallowing the ocean breeze to take away all your worries or stress. Allow yourself just to be. There are no meetings here, no deadlines, only peace and calm.Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. Notice your feet back in the warm, brown sand. The sky is now painted a pale orange and yellow as the sun sets in the distance. Take this feeling of calm with you in the remaining part of your day and in the weeks ahead. Release all that does not serve you on this journey - any worry, tension or fear. Imagine it floating away in the gentle breeze created by a hummingbird’s wings. Take note of the calm that flowers bring to your being. Nature is medicine for the soul.As you walk in this garden, perhaps you feel the gentle warmth of the sun on your skin and feel the ground beneath your feet. Notice the gentle petals, the vibrant colors and delightful scents of rose, honeysuckle and peony. Feel your body soften as you take this moment to simply be.There is no hurry, no rush in this garden. It is a place of peace and tranquility. Take this feeling of gentle calm with you as you move throughout your day and week. Time For Meditation | Marine Life
MeditationWelcome to our Marine Life meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.As you listen to the calming sound of the waves and water, notice your face. If you are experiencing any tightness or tension, take this moment to release it. Allow your forehead and mouth to soften as you let your worries go. You do not need to carry them with you.Gently move your focus from your face to your neck and shoulders. If you feel any tightness, allow your shoulders to drop and release the weight you are carrying. Keep your breathing slow and rhythmic, in unison with the sound of the gentle ocean waves.Loosen your arms and hands, feeling calm move through your body as you scan for any stress or strain.Now, gently turn your focus to your core. Your core stabilizes your body and keeps it physically balanced. Take this moment to dissolve any additional worry in your center.From your core, focus on your thighs, your calves and now your feet. Allow them to relax with the rest of your body. Take one deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out of your mouth. You are safe in this moment of pause. MeditationWelcome to our Where the Wind Blows meditation.Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.Imagine you are standing on a quiet ocean beach.The air is fresh, you feel the cool wind on your skinAbove you, seagulls fly effortlessly over the shoreline.They do not rushThey do not strain to flyThey simply lean into the wind and allow it to carry them.There is no weight on their shouldersThere is no questioning or second-guessingThey are secure in their truthThat no matter how difficult the pathOur feathered friends gently spread their beautiful wings and take flight.And you…you are allowed to do the same.Just like them,you do not have to have everything figured out in this moment.You only need to breatheAnd now, gently, the scene begins to shift.The wide ocean fades into something familiar.The sounds of wind and waves softenPerhaps now you are in your own backyard.You watch and listen quietly as various birds stay in trustSome pause.Some watch.You feel only peace in this still momentThe same wind that carried the seagulls across the open skymoves here too.It moves through the trees.It moves through the feathers.It moves through you.You do not have to know where it is taking you.You only need to trust that you are held in its current.And when you feel you can spread your wingsyou are allowed to fly.Whenever you need a moment of calm, you can returncarrying with you the quiet strength of where the wind blows.~ Beth CruzTime For Notes* Check out the new: Sick of this Shop!* Check out the new network and affiliate calendar: BroadBannerLearn new skills:* B. Time For Meditation | Island Meditation
MeditationWelcome to our Island Meditation. Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.Imagine you are on the beautiful island of Barbados. The waters of the Caribbean are almost a neon shade of turquoise. You slip off your shoes and walk barefoot in the warm sand, each step further grounding you in the present. As the waves come to shore, you walk in the sand allowing the warm water to wash over your feet. You take in the beautiful shells and life around you.While on the island, let’s take a walk through the Barbados Wildlife Reserve in St. Peter. Although the red-footed tortoise is non-native to the island, these beautiful creatures with their bright orange, red and yellow colors flourish in the reserveliving up to 70 years, are certain to bring calm. They understand there is no need to hurry.The Macaws living inside the reserve are striking with vivid yellow, teal and green colors. Also non-native, they can grow as large as 30 -40” long and have a wingspan of up to 4 feet. They are large in comparison to the other parrots and parakeets.Roaming freely on the island, is the Green Monkey, which is also a non-native species. The monkeys do not look green but rather an illusion of yellow as the color of their fur is a mix ofyellow flecks and brownish-grey and olive fur. They know as acting cheeky and mischievous, stealing fruit from farms and glasses from visitors.Follow the path before you, staying present and taking in all the beauty around you. The palm trees offer shade from the sun. Feel the culture of island, the vibrational hum and rhythm that leaves every worry behind.Relax your body and allow the Caribbean sunset to dissolve any remaining stress, worry or fear that you have today. Let the tide gently take it away. You are at peace and energized on your island adventure. Time For Meditation | Seaside Snorkel
Welcome to our Seaside Snorkel meditation. Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.Imagine that you are underwater snorkeling alongside vibrant reefs. Tropical fish of all colors are moving gently with you, guiding your calm. You are gliding effortlessly in this serene environment feeling calm and protected. The water is warm and comforting.There is no stress here, no deadline, only peace and tranquility. Your weight is supported by the water around you. You are safe. Notice that the fish and other marine life move without effort or urgency. Feel your body relax as you join them in this moment. If there is any stress or tension in your body, allow the water to take it away. If any negative thoughts enter, let them drift past. Allow the water to wash them away. Give yourself permission to let them go.Notice your breath. It is slow and rhythmic. With each exhale, you feel more relaxed and calmer. Your muscles soften with the release.As you move through your day and week, remember that you can always return to this beautiful, peaceful state at any time you need a moment of calm or stillness. MeditationWelcome to our beach calming meditation. Take a moment to get comfortable. Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out.Imagine that you are present on this beach, feel the warm grains of soft, sand under your feet, and feel the warmth of the summer sun on your skin.
