TravIs DOPE (FkA Klap Montana)----Born and Raised in Jamaica Queens, April 3rd, 1989, to the late April Daniels & William George. Trav started writing music at the age of 10. It was then where him and childhood friends formed their group Chozen Onez, who would later link up with Bang'em Smurf and Domination's GF Records Imprint. At 14, Klap relocated to Richmond, VA, where he met upcoming producers, Jovan "Dub" Jordan, and Brandon "Bear" Jordan. The pair worked with Travon his craft, helping him with studio time and production, tagging him the name "Klap Montana". In 2006, Klap gained his first glimpse at recognition with his singles "Too Fresh" and "She Bangin" both making their way to radio airplay on Richmond, VA's 106.5 Da Beat (Dj Sir RJ) and Power 92.1 FM (Dj Aplus). Even though he is no longer living in NYC, he still keeps a presence. Travis Dope, is on track to be a force in the music industry.
