Team Women in Coffee Exchange

Our goal is to gather real perspectives from professionals across the supply chain and share them through a series of podcasts and webinars. For a bit of background, we have really come to understand the need for a more inclusive definition of coffee quality through various sensory workshops, cupping sessions, and focus groups. We have learned that things like our individual experience, background, and supply chain position have an impact on the role of quality for each of us. Yet at the same time, we've seen that other factors like gender, supply chain position, and access to resources have a much larger, outsized impact on achieving standardized quality assessment skills and understanding. Through this series and corresponding webinars, we hope to amplify the need for an expansive definition of quality.
