Balance Vs. Alignment: The Factors Behind Women's Burnout
The biggest lie we were ever told? That we can have it all and do it all perfectly. In this episode, I'm revisiting some of my earliest reflections from my rechargement year, because I know so many of you are living exactly what I lived two years ago. And I want it to actually be useful.I break down the two-part equation that leads to burnout, anxiety, and the physical symptoms so many high-achieving women know intimately: the imbalance of carrying too much, and the slow erosion of alignment that happens every time we mask who we truly are to fit into rooms that weren't built for us.We talk about what it costs to quiet your intuition, dampen your doubt, and trade your superpowers for approval. Then what becomes possible when you finally stop. The path back to yourself is more intuitive than you think. But it starts with one thing: getting quiet.

Stop. Regulate. And Listen.
In this episode of Uncharted, I’m getting real about something that’s changed my life: regulation. I spent years living in a state of total overwhelm, disconnected from my heart and soul while trying to juggle a high-pressure job and being a mom to young kids. I’m sharing what I’ve learned about shifting that "unregulated" energy and finding a way back to myself. What Regulation Actually Is: To me, being regulated isn't about being "perfect" or always happy; it’s about having the awareness to feel my emotions like anger or stress and move through them without losing my cool.My "Unregulated" Highlights: I look back at some of my toughest moments, like a total meltdown during my son's kindergarten admissions and a cake-related crisis at a 2nd birthday party.Energy is a Broadcast: I talk about how our internal "frequency" acts like a broadcast that our kids, partners, and even pets pick up on. I even dive into how our stress as moms can impact our babies before they’re even born.Healing for the Kids: One of the biggest reasons I did this work was for my boys. I’ve noticed that as I’ve learned to regulate, the energy in our whole house has shifted for the better. The Quick Fixes: When I'm feeling the heat, I use things like splashing cold water on my face, box breathing, or the $5-7$ vagal nerve breath to get back into my body. The Long Game: I’ve found that a daily meditation practice (even just 10 minutes) plus real rest and "play" time are what keep me from hitting a level 10 meltdown.Body Cues: I share how listening to those random aches and pains in my back or hips actually helped me realize where I was storing emotional stress."When we regulate and get quiet, we clear the clutter and finally start to hear what we actually need."

Love Crone, Be done with Karen
When did we become a "Karen"? In this episode, I’m digging into something that has been nagging me, and honestly, the universe has flagged it enough times that I knew I had to address it. We’re talking about the cultural "expiration date" stamped on women as we age and the bizarre tension between the revered Crone of our past and the weaponized "Karen" of our present. In this conversation, I explore:The "Karen" Trap: Why this meme is actually a modern-day "Scold’s Bridle" used to shame us into staying small and "likable" just when we’ve finally earned the right to speak up.The Missing Piece of the Puzzle: Why we flinch at the word Crone and how we've been brainwashed to believe that once we're past a reproductive or "decorative" age, we’re no longer valuable to society. The Paddle Court Reckoning: I share a story about a recent confrontation that perfectly illustrates how we’ve traded the reverence of the "Sage" for a punchline, and why we have to stop accepting that trade..

Reclaim Your Energy in Masculine Spaces

Here are some practical tips on how women can ground themselves, stay present, and communicate authentically in high-pressure situations.Morning Meditation: Jamie stresses the importance of starting the day with presence Grounding at Work: Simple breathwork exercises (like the vagal nerve technique or box breathing) can help calm the nervous system before meetings or calls.Male Allies: Find male allies who can advocate in meetings, ensuring your ideas are heard and acknowledged.Conscious Awareness: Recognize when you’re slipping into high-anxiety, hyper-masculine traits (like talking too fast or over-preparing). Balancing the Masculine and Feminine at Work
In the corporate world, success is often measured by masculine energy: data, logic, linear progress, and constant execution. In this episode, we explore the fundamental tension between masculine and feminine energies and why reclaiming your "soft" power is the key to authentic leadership. In this episode, we explore:The "Doing" vs. "Being" Trap: Why the corporate hustle rewards masculine drive while neglecting the restorative power of the feminine.Intuition as Intelligence: Moving beyond data points to trust the receptive, intuitive "knowing" you’ve been conditioned to ignore.Healing the Imbalance: How over-indexing on masculine energy is often a trauma response, and how to start shifting back into flow.Messages from the Body: Recognizing that physical symptoms like insomnia are signals that your energy is out of alignment.

Deconstructing the Mask
Let's talk about that mask I keep referring to... In this episode, I pull back the curtain on the exhausting "performance" required to navigate high-stakes corporate leadership. Drawing from my experience as a CMO in the tech and SaaS worlds, I explore the anatomy of the professional mask, the protective layer women often wear to be heard in boardrooms where our insights are frequently overlooked.I talk about my "Pom-Pom Strategy": a mask of high energy, relentless positivity, and a constant smile used to "translate" my strategic warnings into a version that wouldn't get me labeled as "negative" or "aggressive". I discuss the heavy toll of silencing my intuition to lead with data points, even when my gut was "screaming" that a strategy was out of balance. In this episode, we explore:The Translation Game: How women are forced to change the way they speak to avoid blank stares and subject changes in leadership meetings. The Pom-Pom Strategy: My personal account of using a high-energy persona to navigate male-dominated spaces.Intuition vs. Information: The cost of quieting your internal "knowing" to fit into corporate logic. The Mask-Focus Mentorship: Why women often seek help to "figure out" the mask, and how we can start to dismantle it instead.A Call to Authenticity: Recognizing that corporate burnout is a signal from the universe that it’s time to deconstruct the mask and return to your true self.
