    A Love For God's Word | Psalm 119:97-105

We should love the Lord, our families, our church family, and we should love God's word. The Bible is a priceless treasure in the life of a Christian. We should meditate on it, follow what is in it, gain wisdom from it, fight life battles with it, and share it with others. God's word is true, it is inerrant, infallible, God breathed. What a blessing it is to be able to hold God's spoken word in our hands. It truly is a priceless treasure.

    The Humble Heart | 1 Peter 5:6-7

To have a humble heart is very important. Peter tells us in 1 Peter chapter 5 that we are to humble ourselves before God. Humility does a lot of things for the Christian. Humility helps reach people, it helps us grow, and it keeps us grounded. The end result of living a humble life is that God is glorified through us, and may that be the desire of each one of us as we journey through this life.

    Our Calling | Matthew 5:21

We've had some technical difficulties on the last couple of uploads, but are excited to get todays out.The defense to deception is to know the truth, any many people wander their whole lives what their calling may be. The answer is simple, we are called to be faithful. It's not about being faithful when we get to Heaven but being faithful while we wait on it. God is challenging us today to be faithful. One way we can be faithful to the Lord in the waiting is to be faithful to the Church, it is vitally important. If we are to obey the Lord and live the Christian life we are to do the things Christ would do, and love the the things that Christ loved. Proverbs. 28:20 says that the Lord blesses a faithful man. Now the question is, what are you faithful to?

Hope Is The Gift That Keeps Giving | Romans 5:1-6

Physical gifts rarely keep giving. Hope Keeps giving. It is amazing what hope does for us, it keeps us moving forwardWe can hope for a lot of different things. We can hope for a white Christmas or hope our favorite sports teams to do good, but this isn't the kind of hope that we hear about today.Biblical hope is the expectation of the promise of God. This world is hopeless, people don't have hope because they don't have Christ. He is our hope! Listen to this sermon as Bro. Ronnie explains how:Hope Gives us peace with GodTo have a growing hopeTo have a lasting hopeHope is only found in Jesus Christ, if you do not have him you have absolutely no hope. No hope in this life or the life to come.Know Jesus today before it is too late.

Actions Speak Louder than Words | Luke 7:36-50

Actions speak louder than words, our actions must also be rightly motivated.  When we no longer care what people think, but what God thinks, our lives will change. In this story we find a woman who never says a word, yet her actions speak loudly for love of her Savior. Today's sermon poses a lesson on forgiveness, and three questions. Who do we see?Who do we serve? What motivates our actions?Do your actions speak? Are you loving Jesus and serving him no matter what people may think?

The Resurrection of Life | John 5:25

The resurrection of Jesus Christ changed the world. To understand our text today, one must first understand the context and realize that Jesus is talking to a group of pharisees who were mad at Jesus for gaining followers while they were losing theirs. Join us today as Bro. Ronnie takes us to John 5:25. Will you experience the resurrection of life, or the resurrection of damnation?

The Power of a Thank You | Luke 17:11-19

Thanksgiving is about being thankful. We shouldn't be thankful just one day a year but every day. In Luke 17 we find that Jesus made it a point to go through Samaria, a place that most Jewish people of the day tried to avoid. In Samaria, there were ten leprous men that Jesus was to meet. Though they were all healed, only one turned and praised God, and fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. This man, this Samaritan was made whole. A simple thank you changed this mans life for an eternity. Do you have a grateful heart? Have thanked the Lord for all he has done for you? Does your life reflect gratitude?Today of all days, reflect on the goodness, the grace, and the mercy that God has shown in your life and try to make it a daily habit to thank God.

Choosing to Serve the Lord | Joshua 24:13-15

When God called Joshua, he served. In your service to the Lord, is it in sincerity and truth? Do you cheerfully give of yourself, all of yourself? Do you have the mindset that you “get” to serve the Lord or do you “have” to serve the Lord? That mindset speaks volumes on your heart. When we choose to serve the Lord, it should be a life long commitment. And the Bible makes it easy to see the evidence of real people that have committed themselves to the Lord.

Who is Jesus? | Matthew 16:13

The greatest question we must ask ourselves is “Who is Jesus?”. Ultimately, He is God in the flesh whose mission is to seek and save the lost and our mission is to tell people about Him.

Moved by the Power of the Word | Genesis 1:1

We read in the Bible, that by God’s spoken word everything was created. We also read in Hebrews 4:12 that his word is,Quick or alive as we would say today.Powerful, it is life literally life changing.Sharper than any two edged sword, it goes to the core of who we are and changes is from the inside out. There is power in the word of God and we must obey and have it on our hearts. For us to truly understand how powerful it is, we must:Realize the authority of God’s word.Recognize the power of God’s word.Respond to the power of God word.Is your life being moved by the power of God’s word?

Always Remember the Goodness of God | Genesis 2:15-17

James 1:17 tells us that everything good in our lives comes from God. When we see and understand the goodness of God, it will cause us to either repent, or reject. We have a choice between good or evil, light or dark, life or death. When we think of goodness, we should think about the cross of Jesus Christ, where our hope is found. It's not about our goodness but his greatness. To help us remember the goodness of God, here is 4 points from today's sermon:Understand our sinfulness, and God's goodnessA look at Jesus' first sermon.Realizing we can't be good enough to get to HeavenA Parable to help us remember the goodness of GodWe all know the saying, "God is good all the time, and all the time God is good." Let us live out this principle in our daily lives and truly know and show to the world just how good God really is.

Two Things We Must Do If We Love God | Romans 12:17-21

In the Christian life, we must be spirit led. Our emotions can only take us so far. God expects us to love him and live for him. How are we to do these things? We are to keep the commandments of Christ, which he summarized all the law as to love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself. We also need to realize and know that we have the Holy Spirit inside of us who enables us to live for Jesus and keep his word. Secondly, we are to love God with all our heart, mind and soul. We are to live Holy, set apart lives and lean upon God and what he says is acceptable, not what we think is acceptable. We are to live our lives with a renewed mind that is saturated in the word of God, and to allow him to work through us in every situation. We can't let our emotions get the best of us. There is a lot to be upset about and angry in our world today, Satan is waiting to see just how Christians will act out in anger. we must realize and know the vengeance is not ours but God's. Let him act in his timing.Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

Eyes, Ears, and the Understanding Heart | Matthew 21:42-45

God wants us to have an understanding heart. The religious leaders in that day both seen and heard all that Jesus did and said, yet they chose to not understand who he was.Religion will not save you, good works will not save you. Baptism will not save you. Church membership will not save you. If you are just religious, or trusting in your own works you will go straight to hell. You must have a relationship with Jesus ChristJohn 14:6We must understand, know and believe that Jesus is God. To see Jesus is to see GodTo see God is to see Jesus The Lord wants us to think critically.Read the word, hear the word, and understand with our heart.John 5:39Know that the most important decision you can ever make is to accept Jesus as your Savior. Understand that without him, you are destined for a place called hell. Repent of your sins today, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, confess him as Lord and believe that Gods has raised him from the dead and you will be saved. It’s as simple as that.
