    A flightless arrow

In today’s poem, “A flightless arrow”, I let my imagination run wild to conjure up images of pointlessness. With a point—or purpose—life has deep meaning and fulfillment. This can be something specific like writing a bestselling novel or more general like raising a loving family or a beautiful garden. Most importantly, having a direction to point to in life allows us to live in the present moment—in the peace of knowing that our life is right on track. So, essentially, know where you’re going in life…but don’t take it too seriously. Know where you’re pointing to so that you can be here to experience joy in the present moment.-MikeWant more? when all feels lost

Today’s poem came to me as I was sending love to family, friends, and clients in the LA area. I hadn’t planned to share it today because I hadn’t written it before today.I hope that it brings you peace-MikeWant more? Nowhere to go—yet still not free

Today’s short poems, collectively titled "Nowhere to go—yet still not free," illustrate my belief that without a clear vision or destination, it’s nearly impossible to live in the present moment and enjoy the journey of life.My New Year’s wish for you is to have a clear North Star for this wonderful year ahead; not so you need to achieve it, but so you can live in the present moment and enjoy the ride while creating your dreams.-MikeWant more? "All aboard to heaven!"

Today’s short story, "All aboard to heaven!", is a precautionary tale about enjoying the journey of life or missing it in a rush to the end.Give yourself the gift of enjoying the journey. It sure beats the alternative.-MikeWant more? Join The Circle Of Freethinkers today (it's free) at TheCircleOfFreethinkers.com This is a public episode. Right Side Of The Bed

Today’s poem, “Right Side Of The Bed”, reminds us to take time for ourselves before anything else. This is how to feel full of vitality in life and it also allows us to give to others from an overflowing cup.Especially during these—often chaotic—holidays, it’s critical to spend time in the morning putting your head on straight. This is my holiday wish for you.-MikeWant more? The Writer

"The Writer” highlights the importance of dreams and visualizations. Far too often, we feel that these acts are frivolous wastes of time and that there’s something more important that should be done. There’s not.As I always say, “If you don’t know where you’re going, don’t be surprised when you don’t get there.” Spending time dreaming and visualizing your ideal life is how your ideal life comes to be. Love yourself enough to dream big and dream often.Want more? Join The Circle Of Freethinkers today (it's free) at TheCircleOfFreethinkers.com This is a public episode. No Thorn, No Rose

It’s important for me to acknowledge that the path of enlightenment isn’t always light. As with all things, life is a delicate balance of yin and yang. When we don’t express the darker side of things, that’s when they get repressed and are able to cause far more damage.Join The Circle Of Freethinkers at TheCircleOfFreethinkers.com.-Mike This is a public episode.
