In this episode of In Session, Dan and Martyn were joined by Martin, Alec, and Scott of Skerryvore. Valtos had the pleasure of joining Skerryvore for their 20 year celebrations at Floors Castle in the summer of 2025, but didn't really get to catchup with the boys as they were so busy: as Alec puts it in this episode, it was like hosting your own birthday party where you don't really see anyone. Conversation ranged from the 20th anniversary celebrations, to how the band began, touring the world, having their equipment stolen in Australia, what discs they'd take to St Kilda, and much more. Topics covered how Elephant Sessions got to where they are today, the importance of Inverness as part of their identity, becoming festival promoters, and the elusive misty badger. An insightful and fun conversation with some two of Scotlands premier musicians.

For episode 4, Dan and Martyn sit down with Andrew O'Donnell, also known as Beluga Lagoon, one of the most exciting acts emerging in Scotland at the moment. Discussions revolved Andrew selling out the Barrowlands in 3 minutes, his love for the outdoors of Scotland, the imagery of his music, his inspirations, and in a weird twist...taxidermy.

In this episode, Martyn and Daniel sat down with Eilidh Cormack, not only a Gaelic superstar, but one of their closest and oldest friends. The discussion ranged from how Eilidh got her start as a singer (and why her parents were briefly worried...), her collaborations with Jed Grimes of Simple Minds, Sian, & Niteworks, and her musical inspirations.
