In the last episode, Jeff confronts Nate and Parker for being "messy" and lacking attention to detail. Although there were challenges, Parker was able to rise above them and move on to the next phase. Now, Parker is a Crew Lead, and has the challenge of training new team members. In the last episode CEO Jeff Gear was not impressed with Parker's progress. Parker was working under Nate (TSR crew lead). Jeff points out that Nate is "messy" and lacks attention to detail... Nate knows that he has to either "shape up or ship out". All of this and more, in episode 3.
