When The Fear of Calling 911 Is Every Alaska Natives Reality
by Devan Thurmond
Today in this podcast I'm going to really bring light to the fact that police brutality is a real thing in the fear of calling 911 because you don't want the situation to possibly get more dangerous or life-threatening for you or your loved one is a real thing. This is a subject that doesn't really get brought up that much or that often and it really should be because I've lost friends and family to please brutality and all they were calling for was to literally get their loved ones help and it ended in death of a loved one when all you wanted to do was help.
